Thatgamecompany is giving that flOw game a Special Offer that the last PlayStation Store update didn't give us a heads up for. For today only, the game will be free to download for those in the US and Canada.

By US and Canada, I mean those who are actually in those regions. A US account in, say Europe, will only get you a disappointing error message, and the game will still be at its normal US$ 7.99 price.

flOw will remain free only until 12AM EST/ 9AM PST, so fire up your PS3s and hit that download button real quick.

The game, flOw, is interesting and makes use of the sixaxis so it's something different. Free is free.

Yes I think this is the point of this game something to do quiet and calm.

I've been wanting to check this game out for awhile. It's made by an independent game developer, by himself, so it's good to see the little guy having some success in this corporate juggernaut that is the gaming industry.

I bought it long ago, and it feels more like a tech demo than a real game. It is cool and interesting and different though.

Flower is FAR superior in every possible way.
