Waffles V.s. Pancakes

OK some of my friends and I where argueing the other day and I thought it would be a good disscussion in the DSA.


Ok pick a side WAFFLES or PANCAKES!!!!


I'll start i am a die hard Waffles guy. I say waffles cause hell pancakes just end up a mushy mess on your plate. also waffles hold syrup so it does not get on your bacon or sausage. All in all I think waffles are better.

Hell yeah Ratix!!!! I make just Bacon for breakfast and put syrup on it even though I am not having anything else!

To me the case of pancake V waffle comes down to one simple factor...how hungover I am...lol

Pancakes are easier to make and cleanup after!

this all depends on the day and how hungry you are and who you are with

Pancakes
if your out with your wife or other ppl and you get an omlet or something like that then it just makes sense to go with the pancakes as they come with most meals.
Or if you are at like an IHOP or something that puts some extra stuff in there pancakes then you might go with them too.

Waffles on the other hand are just plain and simple awsome by themself you can like others said put in the syrup and not worry about the mess. Most continential breakfasts at hotel chains have that waffle iron for breakfast so that would make it an easy choice if you were in one. Waffles dont really need anything to go with them to make them beat out pancakes which you usually have to have at least some bacon and eggs to go with to call it a meal.

So as to which is better by itself in my oponion and yes i suck at spelling is waffles

See what had happened was....... I was realy high and I was going to make some pancakes and french toast. After I had the eggs mixed up I realized I had used the last of the bread the night before, and didnt want scrambled eggs because didnt have any cheese for them. So I thought it would be a good idea to make the pancake, dip it in the french toast mix and throw it back on the griddle. It was a good Idea, so my answer is pancakes.
