Help me choose one. I have some game shop vouchers burning a hole in my wallet and would like to know if I should a) wait for mod nation racers, b) wait for Red Dead Redemption or c) Get Bad Company 2 and join you guys for the fun night tonight?

Where is the "all of the above" selection? LoL
My vote is BFBC2....you know we had a blast in the beta/demo ;) I can fly choppers now without killing myself (and any unfortunate Irish passengers) :D

Mod Nation = no jmhc
Red Dead = no jmhc
Battlefield = you play with jmhc
I hope I have made your choice a little bit easier....;)sigpic
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. I know I said I wouldnt preorder RDR but since so many of you are hyping it up so much and after watching the videos I think Im going to get it. The mp looks much better then GTA4 and since the only shooter Ive found that I realy like on the PS3 so far is Killzone 2 and nobody plays that anymore I need a games I can play with other DSA on. I still have my doubts since I hated Red Dead Revolver but it looks like it will be worth the risk to preorder. Besides if I turn out to dislike it I still have KZ2, GoW2, Heavy Rain and the God of War collection to keep me busy. Looks like we should have enough people to start up a DSA posse on Tues.Comment

fromunda,
You need to play some of these other games with clanmates. KZ2 is a fun game---Jake was a beast in that game and how we recruited him into DSA--just before we realized that it was 3rd choice behind socom and warhawk. You need to give socom several plays to enjoy it. The first few times playing just sucks due to the dying and all. Join a practice and you'll see. we get things going quickly and have short rounds (not the character from Temple of Doom) to keep things fast paced but people can learn the maps, game modes and guns. You're the best! Around! Nothings gonna ever keep you down!

I havent given up on SOCOM, but I have never been a SOCOM fan. The only reason I got it was it only cost $17 and a lot of DSA play it. I will give the practices a try,my only problem with that is working 3rd shift makes attending practice hard sometimes. Out of the games you mentioned KZ2 just feels right, and its a fps so that surprised me considering my hatred for 1st person. I have played SOCOM with Tony and some others a few times but I dont think its a game I can get into, I know thats blasphemous to a lot of you but this isnt the 1st time I tried a SOCOM game. WH was alright but didnt get to play a lot before I had to return it to my friend. The one thing I didnt like was the aiming and all the planes, being that I suck at flying in every game I try. If I can find it for a good price used I will pick it up just so I can play with you guys but neither that or SOCOM are as much fun to me as KZ2. So I will probably be getting RDR and play that until another good clan game comes out, like Ghost Recon Futer Soldier or something like that.Comment
