so if you are a gamer does that count you as a geek?
I have always gamed my life away but all the way through I was in every sport possible. Out of school I even kept on playing football for a few years in a little Nebraska based league. I was part of the cool crowd in high school. Did amature body building in college and even considered doing some male modeling when I was in college. Also I still golf all the time in the summer and a lot of fishing even though it doesnt show cause I'm almost always logged on to psn.
Might be one of those border line ppl cause I know I love to play the video games and I love to take part in any sport possible and know of quite a few other DSA ppl that are about the same way. Maybe we are just all getting a little more and more geeky as we get older lol.
Not really any point to this post but what qualities of any of you out there in the game world would qualify you as geeky?
For me its the fact that I guess I was always pretty damn good at Math and never really had to open a book for school and in college. My first major in school was computer engineering and got where I hated to play games or even look at a computer after long so quit that.
I love to game so that might put me in the geek column and watch the science and discovery channels all the time just to match my ideas with the ppl that are presenting their discoveries on tv.
I like to play mmos and rpgs which could be considered geeky and have to buy almost all the new gaming systems when they come out and buy some of the best pc gear possible.
Like I said no real point to my post or idea why I posted it here just putting in my 2 cents worth about myself and if I'm considered geeky or not.sigpic -
