    Playstation Move

Just pre-ordered it. Anyone else planning on getting this at launch? Not sure if I jumped the gun on this one. Are there any titles you guys are planning on getting or looking forward to seeing how it might work out on move? In ireland the only ones that seem interesting to me are the usual sports one and the boxing game. The guy in the shop said I should check again closer to the date to see what else is out there. I'm holding out for the shooters that are gonna come out.

So what do you guys think?

I will hold off until some every day gamers get a chance to review it.

...So live, that when thy summons comes to join
    The innumerable caravan, which moves
To that mysterious realm, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.

I'm totally at odds with the Move. IDK what to do. It interests me but it also annoys the hardcore gamer in me just a lil bit. You'll have to give us some feedback on it Hogezz. It'll be nice to have someone on the inside review it for us :)

I believe it comes out Sept. 17th.

I don't plan on a purchase. So far, it doesn't look that much better than the Wii, and the games selection is meh, at best. Until they convince me it's not a glorified Wii-imitation, I'm going to pass.

I agree with Dooku. Unless they blow me away with something I have to have (like an awesome lightsaber game), I will pass.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. Anyone using the "MOVE" alot? How is it? What games, etc, etc? Do you anticipate it translating well to shooter games like SOCOM?
