    Brutally hard games...

I was postin' in my back thread, and it got me to thinkin' about some of the games I have that kick my ass, and that I've yet to beat. I get fustrated very, very easily, and there are times I've put a game back on the shelf for years until I decide to try them again.

Some of mine that I own, that I've yet to beat or complete:

Rainbow 6 Las Vegas PS3. This game was made by pure sadists. Just say "Theatre level"..*Shudders*.

Uncharted 1 PS3. I keep running out of ammo at the worst possible times. I actually became so angry, that I am truly suprised I didn't smash the controller to bits.

Assassin's creed PS3. I'm at the point where you have to fight the 13 Knights all at once. I cannot do it. I've let friends try it. They cannot do it. I know it's not the game, it's me. I just keep getting my timing off in blocking the attacks....

Battlestar Gallactica PS2. I read the reviews saying that this is indeed a brutally hard game, but figured since I pwn at flight sims, I could do this easy.

    I was schooled hard.

This game was developed by Lord Satan himself. I dare anyone, and I mean ANYONE to beat this game without a cheat device. You would have to have supernatural speed, and the patience of Buddha not to lose your F'n mind at just how hard this game is. I honestly don't think that it can be beat.

Star Trek Encounters PS2. Okay, this game itself isn't hard. It's the controls, plain and simple. You need one button to go up, another to go down. Another to aim, and another to fire, and two more for direction, and movement forwards and backwards. You'd need another two arms just to use the freakin' controls...It's insane !!

Blazing Angels PS3. I pwned this game, until the very last levels. You can literally die just seconds after you spawn in. I MEAN IT ! In the level I'm at now, I spawn in, and have been shot down in 4 seconds. Yes, I counted....LOL !

GTA 3 and Vice City PS2. Now the games by themselve's aren't hard. Repetitive, but not hard. What's killin' me is the racing levels. I love racing games, but I suck at them.

I know that there has to be others out there besides myself, that have games that they just can't seem to beat. What are yours..?

I am not as bad as you deslock but i do get angry at games.

#1 ZELDA 2: THE ADVENTURE OF LINK, NES. i know it is old as shit but since i started playing games this one has haunted me i am in the pocess of beating it now but the fucking side scrolling aspect kills me. ZELDA needs to be played in the classic overhead veiw.

#2 Uncharted, Playstation 3. why do you think i let you BORROW IT DES!!!!!

#3 Skate, Xbox 360. The only problem i have with this one is getting to where i need to go because, A. YOU CAN'T GET OFF THE BOARD!!!, and B. there is way too much frustration facter on this one. Skate 2 i flew through.

#4 Destroy All Humans, Playstation 2. I love this game but the missions where WAYYYYYY TOO hard for me i sucked at 3rd person style games that did not involve a sword and shield. i maybe able to beat it now but i prolly wont.

#5 Two Worlds, Xbox 360. Now let me say i love this game, but holy shit i remember when i frist got it. i was wondering around, and i climbed a mountain and all of a sudden this fucking oger (that is something you are not ment to find until later in the game) FUCKING ONE HITS MY ASS! one hit death withing the first 15 min of playing. just the fact you can run into areas where you are not ment to be at the time is fucking frustrating as hell cause you will die allot i mean allot.

Right now God of War:Chains of Olympus is giving me the most trouble. I just cannot beat the last part. Granted it's on super duper hard mode but still, it's annoying. It's been a year now and I still cannot beat it. I don't even remember much of the story. Just that I cannot beat the last part, lol.

Some of my most recent challenges:

God of War 1,2 &3 on Titan difficulty (Chaos on 3 is INSANE)

Killzone 2. Final boss on hardest took DAYS to beat.

IL-2 Sturmovik. Simulation mode still gives me nightmares.

Wipeout HD. If you've played it, I don't need to tell you.

I have Demon Souls and plan to dive in soon, have heard it's a beast. Just need to finish GOW3. Zeus is a bastard!

Just Demon Souls for me....*Sigh* I beat it, But not without my share of insanely hard parts to the point where I started farming for souls just so that I could get stronger, And working to get some stronger spells by getting demon souls to strengthen my character. I spent the bulk of July working on that game, And I had to deal with assholes who wanted to invade my world, But I back out because i'm not trying to be a pussy, But I also don't like to lose my work see?

I didn't buy this game for PVP, But for my own interests such as finishing the story, And seeing what's so hard about the game. You see there comes a border between making a game too hard, And making a game fun. This game was too hard, But I tried my best to enjoy it.

Another game brutally hard game.... Yea I think Demon Souls is the only game I wish I could throw against the wall and never play again. I finished it, But the PVP has to go.

Yeppers, and you were there the other day when I finally beat R6LV. Talk about a truly anti-climatic ending.

I think a lot of it has to do with your own personal abilities. I HATE platformers, mostly because I just plain suck at them. But my Ex wife was a Mario fiend, and could literaly whip thru those levels with a blindfold on. I was always soo jealous...lol!

Games with jumping; like Ass Creed and Uncharted get me everytime. I still can't get by GTA, and RDR is kicking my ass now in this stupid horse race mission.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. ― Alexis de Tocqueville

@ Jim how about you give me the one you got for winning the special olympics :p

Yeah my hardest part was the last lvl. I got though the rest of the lvls in like a month. The thing that took me forever this time was the last lvl; and the thunderbird.

@ Jake I might be down to try out Demon Souls. I have looked at some of the youtube videos, looks like it would be pretty good.

And after all this time re-playing that stupid level, and showing Yentis how I can't beat the damn thing, I tried it again for several times. So there I am, sitting my ass next to the stupid terminal, waiting, and waiting, and waiting. And out of the blue, Yentis says to me "Dude, I think he just said you can go up the stairs now".

I never heard it, since I'm damn near deaf as can be. All those times playing that stupid ass level, but since the NPC is whispering over the mic, I never heard him tell me that's it was okay to go up the damn stairs; because if you go up too early, you automatically lose the level.

                          *Sighs*.....

That's why I love Red Dead, it's fun and challenging, but doesn't make me wanna throw the "F'n" controller against the wall and ragequit. The part where I rode my horse into the small canyon that was filled to the max with Zombies....did make me girl scream though...Didn't see that coming. And the Zombie horse..I hate that f'n thing.
