I've been drinking Hard Cider lately. Anyone have Mead. I heard that is good too.

Some of those meads are pretty hardcore. The vikings used to drink that stuff.

If you like scotch like I do then you should try "House of Stuart." This scotch is the bst of the cheap stuff. Glenlivit is great too and so is Glenfiddich.

I also found a new rum that I like called "the Kracken." Its a very smooth dark spiced rum. Either way you can make my drink:

Ahh let me dust off my old Mixologist Diploma (Yes, I went to bartending school)

For beer,
Beck's (when not drinking the cheap stuff)
Coors light or Kieth Stone, err.. Keystone. (cheap beer for the pounding down drinking and gaming nights)
Sam Adams Boston Lager (if with a good meal or bbq. They're very heavy and filling)
Mike's Hard Cider (when they are actually around. Haven't seen any this year)

Mixed beer
Bee Sting - Glass of Hard Cider + Mead shot (or two). Usually reserved for when I'm at the Renn Faire.

Mead Maker (I don't care what anyone says, I've coined and trademarked that term lol)- Same as Bee Sting, but mixed into a normal beer. Sam Adams Oktoberfest works really well.

Boiler Maker
Pint of beer, and shot of burbon. Drop shot glass into the pint.
Please don't disgrace single malts or even a good blended scotch by using them in this way.


Liqour
In my older age, I prefer a good single malt scotch on the rocks. Glennfiddich, Belvenie, some blendeds are good too.


In my party days... well thats a list.. Besides just downing a bottle of White Horse whiskey (Yes I did the Jon Belushi from Animal House with these, and still alive to tell about it some how. I'd be lying if I said I never blacked out before) I also drank...

Tequila
Rum
Gin
Triple sec
sweet and sour mix
splash cola

(BTW, all mixed drinks with Cola, should be Coke. No bar I know of stocks Pepsi in their fountains.)

Used to have these mixed up in a pitcher. Me and my friend would each have a pitcher and couple straws each (better flow), and see who could finish them first.

All I know is, whenever Jager was involved, a fight was inevitable. Either with friends, a stranger, or friends fighting someone, or someone ending up in jail. Good times...

Piece of Advice. The more Sugar in a drink, the worst the hangover. Also, some liquors are actually more uppers then downers. Rum, Tequila, and Jager are some examples of uppers.

Now to piss off some people.
Vodka is for woman. Either come out the closet and we'll mix you a cosmo, or be a man and pour yourself a scotch or whiskey instead.

Vodka mixed is sissy. Vodka rocks or martini is good. Not as good as a nice gin martini. I used to be a Bombay sapphire Martini drinker with three olives. But I hate warm martinis so I would drink them quickly. As a result, three martinis in an hour tended to be a poor social approach.

@ RaTix, you really brough back some memories. Long Island ice tea used to be my favorite, you alsocan't beat a good flaming Dr. Pepper.

Me and Tequila are no longer friends along with his friend Jager. Goldschlager is good stuff as well, but I try to keep away from it these days.

As for beer, I usually go for Budlight. Just got used to it, but I also like Sam Adams, Irish Red, Corona (with lime). I'm sure there's some more but I don't really like the dark brews, too heavy and filling and just taste like ass.

First off: I love Vodka. Don't care, I love just shots of it but I will mix it with stuff too. Don't care, its manly. Vodka is for women? Would you say that to Zangief lol?

As for beer my favorite is Hacker Pschorr, #1 being the Oktoberfest then the Dunkel, I also really like Spaten Optimator. The darker the beer the better. If I'm drinking domestic, its Yuengling or Sam Adams, and if I'm cheap and poor (like always) Coors Light.

You've got good taste in beer Fett. I just had one of the best cream stouts ever. Its called, Brau Brothers Brewing Company. I've only tried the stout so far but seriously an outrageously good beer. Sam Adams chocolate stout sucks ass but their Winter flavor beer is really good and worth checking out.

@Ratix The 3 Wisemen shot is a beast. Its Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, and Johnny Walker. That along with a Prairie Fire (tequila and Tabasco) made me puke on my 21st birthday "Power Hour" when that was legal.
