I hate to say this, but this movie, besides my Godzilla flicks, has to be one of my all time faves.

Lotsa crappy effects, cheesy acting (which is still better than those horrible prequels Luca$ made), and David Hasselhof shooting laser beams from his eyes. What's not to love..? :D And ya gotta admit, Caroline Munro was a heckuva lot hotter than Carrie Fisher. And I would give anything to make an "Elle" robot costume like the one in this movie. How can you not love a android with a texan accent.
And the lead villain rides around in space fortress shaped like a giant hand...

Gosh how I wish they still made just for "fun" movies like this, instead of those shitty cgi monster movies on the now ruined SyfY channel. Christ, at least this movie was actually meant for fun, unlike "Twilight"..*Shudders*
