Picked up a new carry piece today... a Glock 27 (40 cal baby Glock) and something I've been wanting for a looooong time... a good old Mosin Nagant.

So just to give you guys an idea how crazy a Nagant is and why I'm a stickler on round size in Socom... the Mosin Nagant fires the same round as a Dragunov (SASR in Socom)... and here's what that thing does:



The Mosin Nagant costs between $75 and $150 and ammo is about 50 cents per round. Tons o fun.

Those Russian bastards are still pretty tough. If ya run out of ammo in combat, you can just use the damn thing to beat someone to death with it.

Well it's ingenious! If you run out of ammo, you CAN use a NATO 7.62x51 (M14/M1) Round... but they can use your slightly larger 7.62x54 rounds if they run across your body. And good god it's a big ass rifle.

Shoot it at night and watch the fire ball that comes out. It's quite fun.

The nagant revolver is pretty neat as well.

I've heard of a Nagant revolver but never seen one... I have the big boy, I'd like a carbine as well...

They have that gun in MGS4, it only fires tranq rounds though. I think 5 tranqs per clip but not sure.
