went to USMC Sniper School with a kid from Pennsylvania that had the meanest turkey call you ever heard. Said he was coming over a hill in his truck and killed the young turkey's momma, raised it from a chick as a pet & learned how to "talk" to it. The instructors would always want to hear it while we were out on a stalk, would radio to the walker and tell him to "Tell Peitrowski we want to hear that turkey call". Until that point in my life I never would have figured there were Pollock Rednecks from Pennsylvania with a mean-ass turkey call. It is an art really, most turkey hunters use some kind of handheld turkey call device... but the best ones have their turkey call built-in. Mmmm-hmmm, yep!Kill or be Killed, there is no question about it.
