I know we have a lot of IT guys here, but is anyone well versed with Microsoft OneNote? I have some questions.

    Thanks

...So live, that when thy summons comes to join
    The innumerable caravan, which moves
To that mysterious realm, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.

I have used to program I might be able to help you.
"Thrawn: "Do you know the difference between an error and a mistake, Ensign?"
    Colclazure: "No, sir."
Thrawn: "Anyone can make an error, Ensign. But that error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it." [points at Pietersen, Rukh kills him] "Dispose of it. The error, Ensign, has now been corrected. You may begin training a replacement."

      Cotto,

I basically am looking for a form that I can take notes with during my one on one meeting with my employees. These meetings are weekly at the same time. They tend to follow the same pattern of topics although the spefics change. For example, one week we might be discussing Clients A, B, C, D and the next week we could be discussing clients E, F, G. In addition to discussing clients we could discuss anything from HR issues to a Christmas party. Often during these meetings I will ask my employees to take very specific actions.

I'd like to be able to take notes in Nov 1st meeting and tag certain notes to show up in Nov 8th meetings OneNote Document. That way when I open that future meetings document, all the notes on the subject that I asked my employee to take action on are already on the form and reminds me to ask about it.

Secondly, I'd like to create a specific subject, then take notes on that subject and then be able run a querry for that subject and have all notes be pulled up in a single view.

I am not sure OneNote has this capability. But it seems like one of those programs that has so much flexibility, that it just might be possible. From your experience, can it deliver what I want?

Oh wow that I can not tell you I just used it to take notes in the classes I take and that is just using the subject tabs.

ND, I'm not sure you can do all of this with OneNote because I do not use it as much. I do know all of your request can be done with Microsoft Outlook 2010. You can use Task to cover most of what you want along with the Journal.
