    Sony Hackers Become Avengers???

    This was an interesting read:
The Anonymous group has changed its role from hackers to avengers. First, the group hacked into 40 child pornography sites, took the sites offline, and revealed the names of over 1,500 pedophiles.

Not sure what to think...I still hate them for hacking PSN and this might just be a way for them to make themselves look "good" again so who knows. :p

    Thoughts?

    Impossible

It's unfortunately impossible to tell if this 'group' is a group and if it is a group, then is it the right group, and if it's the right group, is it always the *same* group. . . .confusing. Hah.

I guess if they were going to be a real terrorist organization/social engineering collective, they would act first, threaten later.

I think a show of force is likely needed for anyone to take them seriously. It's awfully easy for something to happen and then 'Anonymous' takes credit for it later.

They don't have a lot going for them PR wise either. 'Lets claim ownership of the PSN hacking mishap' alienates a lot of people who could be potential allies in public opinion.

My guess is that each and every gopher head popping up claiming to be 'Anonymous' is a separate entity altogether. Huge conjecture, but I'd think they'd be a little more effective with just a modicum of leadership and organization.

At least they are using their skills for good instead of trying to "teach Sony a lesson" by annoying millions of PSN users. Quite a change isn't it? From Sony to a drug cartel.

Its quite obvious this group has little direction and speech writing skills.....lol. They are good at one thing and that is hacking. With direction they could actually make a difference. But if they become too organized and structured they'll be much easier to arrest, kill, etc. Make no mistake the cartel will try to kill them. They know no mercy. I don't think these guys/gals have any idea what they've just gotten themselves into but I wish them luck.

Yeah seriously messing with a drug cartel!!!! I like their intensions of going after people in the wrong, but the Zetas are people as APAT stated have "no limitations." If they want you dead you are going to be dead. The child pornography thing was really cool though. Last bit of the rant that really pisses me off is the use OF V FROM V FOR VENDETTA!!!! Its cliche and way out context. GET SOME NEW F^$%ing material!!!
