Jumping/Sprinting Stilts

I am considering getting a pair of these at some point. I would love to jog at 14+ MPH down the bike lane at the beach.

I'm not so much for backflips and car jumping. But they look really fun to just move around on.

I'm guessing it's because of the added reach it adds to the legs that allows you to cover more distance in shorter time.

hmm. . .I didn't think of it before but you're right. That's totally IRL Inspector Gadget wish fulfillment. I used to love that show to no end when I was a kid.:D

Personally I'd love to see something like this in a military shooter. A team or two or three Recons bounding across a battlefield and jumping medium height concrete walls or something.

As for the running speed. It's a combination of extended legs as well as the stilts themselves being spring-like.

The military has something like this for combat use but I don't know if they will help you jump like that. But I bet this would be very effective way to get some kills in the field. It can easily be adapted for killing.
