Well, today is the day that we find out of we're going to have a boy or a girl.

I really don't care at this point.

Life as a rule, has been most unkind to me. I've been thru a lot of shit. Some has been my fault, a lot not. That's just life. It just is what it is. We all just have to deal with it. Just like everyone here reading this has gone through.

As Dennis Leary said: Life sucks, get a f'n helmet.



The gender of my child doesn't matter to me. Boy or girl, if given God's chance to see it thru, I'll teach my child how to change a car tire, depend on their own choices, and not be a victim. Bullies are assholes. And just why they are assholes.

Just how why being a geek rules. If you like what you like, as long as it's legal, you don't have to explain yourself to anyone.

That life can be mean, unkind, and very unfair, there are still very good and kind people out there. Being DSA has taught me that. To not give up hope, just because life has treated you like shit from time to time.

You fellow DSA have taught that to both Daz and myself.

That no matter whom you may be, or where you come from, you indeed have friends that have your back.

And no one could ever ask for more.

Well, we went to the doctor today to have the ultrasound that tells what gender little Wiggles is. Turns out Wiggles is a boy. We are having a mini Des. :) A future DSA member perhaps? Very likely. I've been an emotional wreck (in the best of ways). We were in the infant department and I was crying like a sap over the tiny outfits with dinosaurs and bugs on them. They're so freaking cute. I'm very happy that we're having a boy, but the most important thing is that he's healthy. Everything looks good, and we're excited to meet our little man at the end of September. :)

We're going to be there, Daz, Yentis, and myself. I don't know if I'm going to wear my Stormy or my Tie pilot. Probably my Stormy. Cons are a lot of fun. I know we'd love to meet you two IRL, and we could have so much fun !.

You don't know the meaning of fun, until you've met Daz IRL.

I know we'd love to host you guys at the Con, and you'd get to meet a lot of Celebs.

And you don't know the true meaning of party, until you've been to a 501st. party.

I didn't even know there was a con there, to be honest. I'm not too interested in western comics, so if we do go, it'll be more for my Harry. I'll ask him though.

It's not a comic con, it's a meet geek celebrities con. There's usually tons of interesting geek stuff for sale. I dare anyone to go to a fanboy expo and not find something or someone that interests them. If you're into something, it's there. trust me. We might be there Friday, but I know we will there Saturday. I just don't know right now if I'm going to wear my Stormy. Yeah, it's fun having everyone get their piccys with me all over the place, but it's certainly pinchy and uncomfortable. Especially not being able to sit down, that wears you down fast. But lots of Gatorade helps a lot.

But it is a fun Con. Last year I didn't even get out of the parking lot when we arrived, without people wanting pictures with me. And most of the Celebs are nice. I know Blunt had a lot of fun at his last Con. Daz being a huge Zombie fan, was positively glowing when she got to meet two of the main zombs from the original "Dawn of the Dead" movie, and they loved her to death. They signed her DVD, and posed for a very special picture with her. I think their smiles were just as big as hers.

And we got to hang out with Darth Vader (Dave Prowse) and Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch) all day. What a great honor and fun filled days those were....Daz had everyone laughing, smiling, and cutting up, the whole time.

Don't pass on Cons if you have a choice. One member here, Cotto, even met his wife at a Con.

Well, it's finally a done deal. My poor game room has turned into a nursery.
Daz has taken all my beloved Halloween Animatronics and placed them in our closet, even though I thought they'd be great to place them all around "Wiggles" bed to protect him, she is afraid it would turn him into a serial killer, or worse.

So she ordered some OT Star Wars curtains for the room. As I wasn't having the ignorant ass Star Wars "Rebel" shit hey have at Wal Mart now. And she ordered some wall decals that will make the room more Imperial friendly. :D

My boy is going to be a loyal Tie pilot and Stormtrooper, like his father before him. And game with the DSA. For there is only one side.

DSA Wiggles is doing great !. We've been to two check ups, and his Dr. said he's growing well, gaining weight like he should, and his 'lil heart is okay. He's eating like a 'lil piggy.

Now my time off of work is over, and I have to go back to work. But I swear to God, I'd rather stick a plastic fork in my eye, given the choice, than go back to work (And no, I'm NOT joking about that. I mean that. I would.). I hate it soo much. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Having this time off with my dear wife and our 'lil one has been truly precious to me, and I hate to see it go by in such a short amount of time.

But now this time dear to me is gone, and I have to get back to the daily grind, re-focus our faith, and to re-dedicate me into getting my DSA toy projects done by October, which is when this grand adventure for me started, to get them done, by the time they all started two years ago.

DSA Wiggles is finally OFFICIAL !, Thanks to an above and beyond Clanmate here ! we can't wait for Y'all to see his membership picture !, with RaTix's wonderful blessing. Stay tuned, true believers !. ;)

And even though it's been brutally hard for me at my new job, I plan on debuting the DSA Toy Theater this month, even with Halloween quickly approaching, which is INDEED a hard time for us, with Halloween being a once a year major event for us, as we get hundreds of TOT's (Trick or Treaters). The weather permitting, I really want to get Police or Sherrifs department officers here to direct traffic so no little ones get hurt, or their parents. I called twice two years ago, and no one ever showed up. Our street is VERY busy during Halloween, and it scared the death out of me, watching all the kids crossing our street coming to our house, and all the cars coming at them, without any form of official protection.

But weather permitting, we'll hopefully have a lot of new piccy's to share with everyone here and on Facebook. And I'm also planning on having a DSA Toy Theater page on Facebook also !.

DES in our county you can request to have the street closed with a block party permit. So long as there are ways around your neighborhood this could work well for the safety of the kids.
