lol the first thing I thought was

1983 George Lucas: "ok, check this out, see there's this dude and he's actually like a lost prince of the galaxy or something, and like this big dude in black bodyarmor is following him around with these massive ships and this gay robot and his trash can. But he needs help because he has no training so he goes to this cave where an old dude says "ITS DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE TAKE THIS" and gives him an electrified sword.

So they find this chick and her planet blows up but its OK because like, it leads to this awesome ww2 carrier battle where

As an aside does anyone remember this short SNL-esque skit called "George Lucas in Love?" It's a parody of the movie Shakespeare in Love.

It shows a young George Lucas just like, trying to hit on this girl in the park, and star wars esque stuff and people keep getting in his way. At one point he looks over and sees the girl sitting next to this obese fat guy who has a Jabba laugh.

I loved Star Wars, I really did. There wasn't anything about his own created universe that I didn't absolutely love.

Then for whatever own personal demons he has, or regrets; he somehow found the desire to explain every single detail about literally everything; to everyone.

Then the other day I was watching X-Play and saw a review about Star Wars Kinnect for the 360....and couldn't help but wonder why LA is going in this non selling direction, and still completely ignoring all their fans that are literally screaming at the top of their lungs online for Battlefront 3. LA has a huge customer base with money that they are willing to throw at them for a new Battlefront 3 game; but to us, they turn a deaf ear. And what makes it worse as Keyser posted, LA KNOWS that we are begging for it. But yet still refuses to answer any communication about it.

And as someone that ran his own business for years, that just doesn't make any kind of sense to me. Your customers/fans are literally your lifeblood for your business and enterprises. You ignore them at your own misfortune.
You fail them, and you fail yourself, and everyone that believes in you.

LucASS has become so arrogant that he thinks he knows what best for us as his fans, and what direction he thinks is best for us through his "marketing" dept., and ass kissers.

I'm not buying it, nor anymore of his company's products in any form whatsoever until he learns how get back to the basics of his universe.

Even as a toy geek I'm even seeing on the 501st. boards that they're not buying Star Wars toys anymore. Didn't they ever think that maybe, just maybe, we'd get tired of buying the same ol' Darth Vader figure no matter how many "new" re-makes they make ?. Same is the same, no matter what new cool paint job you put on it.

Battlefront 1 was a HUGE success. Battlefront 2, even with it's beyond horrible flaws was also a HUGE success for them. It is still to date their most popular game franchise. Star Wars Battlefront games are indeed LA's best sellers.

And what do we get in return for our devotion and cash...?

If I was a manager for LA's gaming division, I would be sinking every penny I could into making SWBF3 a game that would blow everyone away, and make Halo look like childsplay and stupid; and then laugh all the way to the bank.

But no George, just keep giving us more clone bullshit. Don't grow your universe into the next level. Don't take us into your marvelous and incredible future, just keep giving us it's past that most of us don't give a shit about.

I know that it's his own IP to ruin as he sees fit. I understand that, I really do.

If he wants to add Clones, ruin Darth Vader as a whiny self entitled bitch boy, and add robots that holler "OW" when they get hit, that's his own personal perogative as he sees fit. It's his made up universe, and his right. And rightly so.

It's also my own personal decision NOT to support him with my own very hard earned cash, because I feel that he has betrayed himself, and his vision, just to earn more money. Hence my above posted picture.

He has betrayed himself, and I cannot respect that.

All we want as fans is a truly awesome Star Wars Battlefront 3, and in return all we get in return is an epic fail, again and again, and again.
