      Yentis,

I have been splitting time on the xbox and ps3. I can tell you from personal experience the game being played most by DSA is MW3. If BF3 was all on a single platform, it might be the most played game.

The Warhawk guys are getting ready to switch over to Starhawk. From what I have seen, those guys play the hell out of it and I bet you can catch a game with them anytime once it comes out of beta. I play with them once in awhile and DSA has a good reputation on Warhawk and I anticipate them growing through recruits once Starhawk comes out of beta (provided it supports clans with good communication and staging options).

Of course, I am always down for playing Socom. Just hit me up on the site if you want to play. :)

...So live, that when thy summons comes to join
      The innumerable caravan, which moves
To that mysterious realm, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.

I came to the clan through and play Battlefield 3. It usually turns about 8-10 heads for practice nights and 2 or 3 people on off nights. Though I'm always up for a pick up group if I have nothing else occupying my time.

I, Boss and a couple others are going to get Armored Core 5 when it comes out.

Starhawk I might play. I'm pretty on the fence about it to be honest.

As Solo sad BF3 MW3 and Skyrim (don't get Skyrim on PS3 it is broken) are big. But I'm also going to plug two PC games that have a small DSA fallowing. Ratix has a Minecraft server up and running and a few of us have picked up Star Wars The Old Republic.

BF3, I won't make any negative comments towards MW3, but you should definitely get BF3.

Battlefield 3 is where it's at. I'll play that any day of the week. And of course Starhawk.

You might want to try the demo's or rent the existing one first. For me, the gameplay is only 40% of it. The other 60% is how well the game allows me to interact in game with my friends. Whether it is staging, in game communication, the lobby, ability to join a game, etc. I don't find out until I actually play the damn game. Getting to be expensive to play a game and just let it sit.

Just go with the Battalion games:

                      Xbox 360:

                      BF3
                      MW3
                      Gears of War 3

                      PS3:

                      Starhawk
Twisted Metal (not a battalion but it will kick ass!)

If you buy any of them there will surely be clan mates on playing.

                        Battle.

                        Field.

                        3.

Hands down it's simply awesome. Took me a bit to get back in the BF3 groove. Plague has been helping me train on some of the maps late at night. The commo is fantastic, and I love that they have sooo many filters for it, that really helps you customize your gaming experience. And playing in the hardcore rooms really helps out with being a newb on it, as the hardcore rooms have balanced weapons.

I've been dropping guys with much higher ranks than myself. You won't find that in the normal rooms. I played in one "normal" match where I swear I must've emptied 4 whole boxes of .60 cal rounds into a chopper before I was able to take it down. Hardcore rooms are just more realistic and "socom" like.

This and Battlefield 3. It would be interesting to see a TM battalion given the server options and clan support. ;)

I need to DL the Twisted Metal, but Starhawk is pretty awesome. I'm still wrapping my head around some of the mechanics, and how things fit together, but it's really different and pretty badass.

I tell you, after a long day, I do like vegging out to Renegade Ops on PSN. It has a really high quality arcade game feel that's really fun and gives a good challenge and a slight RPG element with a lot of personality. Highly recommend, and since it won't cost you too much (even with expansion) it's a pretty good option.
