I do wonder what Lucas meant when he said "Prowse has burnt too many bridges". Maybe there may have been something that had occured behind the scenes that fell unfavorable towards Lucas and Prowese. I have no idea towards the situation, but I imagine Prowese must have earned some money from the original trilogy before he got edited out for Hayden.

Hey I understand how you feel Des. I've been rocking towards a SWBF3 for a long time now. I'm quite suprised still to this day as to way they don't at least make a multiplayer shooter of Battlefront.
I don't think Pandemic can do it, Rebellion is mediocre, Free Radical is dead, Activision will make it like CoD, EA will throw Online passes on it,etc ,etc ,etc.

As much as I would want to support good games it'd be hard to support LA and buy 1313 although at least paying respect to the people that made the game. Since LA gives the order/permission and the developers do it.
I'd get another xbox, mod it, and give a big FU to LA. Thats the only way to enjoy any of their current games. I brought Renegade Squadron on the PSP used. thankfully non of that money ever went towards LA just to gamestop.

Like Des said, LA makes another game the fans don't want. The game itself might turn out to be good, I won't judge it. But, it still isn't SWBF3. I won't support LA for ignoring the fans and giving us something we can't get excited for. They have made some bad decisions lately. To top it off they're releasing another Clone Wars game along with 1313...WTF? It's sad when you think about all the great SW games released on previous systems (including SWBF) and all we have now is...SWTFU...1313...and Clone Wars...I thought things were supposed to get better.

EDIT: I'm getting tired of pointing out LA's flaws and I will just quote the top comment on the 1313 trailer...

In regards to Mr. Prowse, I talked with him about it, and he told me that he truly didn't understand anything that he might have said that pissed of Lucas so much.

He said that he was angry at first that Lucas dubbed over his voice in EP4 without telling him first, but that he pretty much was over it, and that he never said anything bad about Lucas, and especially openly. But you guys know about Hollyweird and their egos.
It could've been something simple that Lucas just took as a "slight". Who knows ?.

From my own experience, I spent all day with Mr. Prowse and his wife, and I personally never heard him say anything bad about Lucas, even when he was asked about it outright by people there at the Con. He was the literal epitome of class and decorum; and my wife and myself were truly honored to have the chance to spend the day with him and Mr. Bulloch, whom I adore and consider a friend.
And Mr. Bulloch's wife also has a wicked sense of humor. She just put up with all the fandom about her husband with a smile and a quick wink with true British style.

Both men were really classy and fun, and to have the chance to spend the day between two British men and their remarkable senses of humor was truly a joy; and certainly I consider it one of the best days of our lives. I have some great pictures and memories that will last me until I die about how much fun we had with these great guys.

Which is why I probably take his banning to heart. I've never seen a more quiet, kind, and humble man like Mr. Prowse. Even on his website there is no "Charlie Sheen" moment where he could've lashed out at Lucas:

Lucas even shut down his signing tour for his new book, and he didn't even bitch about it, but instead just stated regret about it.

A message from Dave about the book signing tour

I sincerely regret that the book signing tour has been called off. I have written to Waterstones offering a compromise tour but have had no further communication. The last email from them said that they did not think it likely that the tour would continue. This is sad as it was a pleasure meeting the fans with the Storm Troopers and the Waterstones staff.

The book signings were hugely successful for all concerned. It is a shame it has ended this way but signed copies of my book can be purchased through my website, also from Amazon unsigned.

Now watch those videos I posted, and tell me what true "Star Wars" moments were made in them.
