    This > Clone Wars

Why the hell hasn't Lucas made anything remotely like this? Then again, why haven't they released SWBF3 yet? Anyway, I figured this is worth watching since it's the only animated Star Wars clip that's better than all the Clone Wars crap they're doing now.

    Enjoy:

That is mighty good. I would like to so Post ROTJ story line done like that. The Tharwn trilogy would be amazing
"Thrawn: "Do you know the difference between an error and a mistake, Ensign?"
    Colclazure: "No, sir."
Thrawn: "Anyone can make an error, Ensign. But that error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it." [points at Pietersen, Rukh kills him] "Dispose of it. The error, Ensign, has now been corrected. You may begin training a replacement."

WHY DID IT HAVE TO END ????!!!!!!......

      *Cries*

That was just so well done. The level of detail was amazing. The only thing they got wrong was Tie pilots enter from the back. The top of the Tie fighter is not a hatch. That'a just feature on the toys. But everything else was spot on. The top of the Tiefighter is held by explosive bolts, and blows off when the ejector seat is triggered.:

The primary hatch is on the middle of the aft face of the fighter. It is circular, includes the stern window and is hinged at the top. Within the cockpit, at the bottom left and right of the window there are pneumatic piston devices which are part of the mechanism to open and close the hatch. There is a handgrip above the hatch off to the port side; this aids a right-handed pilot exiting the craft. On the TIE's exterior, the hatch hinge mechanism is prominent on the upper aft part of the hull above the window.
There is a prejudice in the folklore of rebel pilots, a belief that Imperial TIE pilots are treated as expendable and that their craft lack safety features. This is demonstrably false. TIE pilots flying in space missions wear a comfortable, insulated and fully air-tight spacesuit enabling them to survive in vacuum. TIEs are equipped with automatic ejection seats, which have been seen in action in the asteroid field in The Empire Strikes Back and in many old and new comics. [Wedge Antilles does not realise this capability, eg. X-Wing: Wraith Squadron p.162., but this may be just rebel pilot folklore.] The ejection seat seems to optionally launch through either the forward viewport or the top of the cockpit ball. The appropriate section of the cockpit is blown away by explosive bolts firing a split second prior to the seat's launch.

And I liked that they had a chick as a bomber pilot. The Empire has a lot of female pilots. And I loved the fact that not even one word was spoken, but it still "grabs" you. Very well done.

That was just so much better than that crappy looking CGI they have on that clone wars shitpile of a so called "show".

God how I wish they'd bring back the Empire !!!!....

Piss on this robots and clones crap. Why lucas would make the two fighting sides so disinteresting and bland ? One is all just faceless robots, and the other side with clones that all have the same face. It's all just so unempathic, at least for me.

Excellent. Great quality, story is told without tons of unnecessary exposition.

All reasons Lucas would have nothing to do with it.

Exactly. It just amazes me how Lucas lacks the common sense to make something as impressive as this.
