So far there are 3 events planned for the 360 side for the DSA Anniversary.
1 BF3 we have a [ame="http://www.darksidealliance.com/showthread.php?t=34824"]server invasion[/ame] planned for the 6th.
2 COD is having its end of [ame="http://www.darksidealliance.com/showthread.php?t=34813"]season tournament[/ame] starts the 8th
3 There are plans for an officer impersonation night on the [ame="http://www.darksidealliance.com/showthread.php?t=34810"]Comedy Night[/ame] arcade game Ratix found."Thrawn: "Do you know the difference between an error and a mistake, Ensign?"

I wouldn't mind setting something up for UC3, but it helps if people actually show up. After how awesome UC2 was, I'm surprised less DSA got the third game. Especially with how much they improved the multiplayer.sigpic

Yeah. You're right the problem was they released right before BF3 and COD, and our focus was shifted.

Actually, the official anniversary is technically the release date of SWBF 1, Which is Sept 21st. Day 1 of release I had the clan open and was out recruiting the first wave of DSA.
Oct 24th was used, or thought of to many as the anniversary date due to the oldest join date of any member on the site, including myself, showing as Oct 24th, 2004.
This is because the original website was a handmade one, and couldn't be imported into PHPNuke, the second website we used. That PHPNuke website was setup on Oct 24th, 2004. And all users added at that point had the join date of Oct 24th. Since then, that was the day most associated with the anniversary, and what has been used.
That website was used for the majority of the DSA lifespan until we moved to vbulletin. Luckily the user data was able to be imported and converted over.
Mostly we have held the idea of a month long celebration for the anniversary. The clan is too large and there are too many variables to try and cram all that celebration into one night.
So October itself is the anniversary month in which we celebrate. Which, yes, is still technically incorrect. But makes for a nice compromise between the real date and the incorrectly celebrated one.
So don't wait for a date to plan something. Plan it out now, do it now, have fun, drink, smoke, and rejoice that you are part of the greatest gaming clan empire ever to dominate the gaming world."POWER!!! UNLIMITED POOWWWEEEER!!!!!!

Battlefield 3 Survival night. So basically it's like a predator like hunt from Farcry on the xbox and PC. There will be many shenanigans to be had. Predators uses knives, and silenced pistols
We've done this on other games as well, It could also be where after you die, you also become a predator and so fourth whittling the team down to none.
