Not going to lie I like this. I loved Little Miss Sunshine and I felt Toy Story 3 really tied up a film that for my age range was a classic to us. Now we just have to see what he does with it. Will we get big name stars or will they do what Lucas always did and maybe cast less known outsiders. Really I think the big thing is who will direct this? Favreau likes the idea. Abrams has semi said no. Unfortunately, Whedon will be working on Avengers 2 at the time, though if I was him I say drop that shit and take Star Wars because if you have seen Firefly I trust him to make good decisions and he would do well with the story.

I know we will be talking about this for the next few years but wanted to at least get a thread started on it. Any suggestions from you guys on who you want to direct it? Keyser feel free to write a lengthy response ;)

I don't know why you would say that about me, especially since I've already said that for the most part now, Star Wars is dead to me now. Lucass and the prequels killed it for me personally at least. Lucas took everything that I adored about Star Wars, destroyed everything cool and fun about it, and then spit in my face, and then told me to "deal with it". Just like that youtube video I posted with Anakin and Lucas in it.

Darth Vader - a whiny self entitled puss that kills children because of a dream that "might" happen. And turns his back on everything he believes in lterally in an instant cinematically all because some Sith lord told him that he might be able to save his wife if he does so. Weak plotline is weak. This is how the ultimate villain and badass of all time gets his start..? Puhleeze. F'n spare me. The dialog between Kenobi and Vader where Anakin burns up is painful to watch, and not in a good way. 'IN MY POINT OF VIEW...THE JEDI ARE EVIL !!!". *PUKES* Great writing there George, you could learn a lot from Joss Wheedon and his crew !

In summation, the OT actors are too old to do anything in Star Wars other then cameos like Bones and Scotty did in Star Trek: TNG, unless they do some serious CGI like Tron : Legacy.

All I would ask is no more "faceless" clones, and a "faceless" droid army.

Other than that, I just don't care anymore.
