    DSA DUST 514 Ambush Video

During our NOV 24th practice we came across a glitch in the game's graphics. One of our squad mates had recorded the match, which ended up going really well for us. Check it out. The gameplay is by our youtube friend Ratamaq Doc.

Ratamaq Doc is an excellent logistics player, and you will see the match from his point of view. Notice all of the little things he does that really help the team. See him reviving and repairing fallen or injured teammates, or scanning for enemies using a magnetic handheld device.

All of his contributions, along with our slaying abilities, had led to the pivotal DSA authorized Orbital Strike (called in by me) that blew the opposition away. This was one epic way to close out an ambush.

Here we jump in when ratamaq and I decide to drive through the entire enemy team with guns a blazing! we quickly devise a sneak attack plan on an enemy tank. I place down my available nanohives while he chunks the packed AV grenades to start off the DSA fueled killing spree.

Grab you a cool one or some popcorn and check this out! No squad audio however. Still excellent gameplay.

So a logistics combat officer can not only get lots of kills, but can even change the game entirely just by having the right gear. Notice after the orbital, we don't sit back and watch but instead push straight in. Ratamaq was able to get a couple of last minute kills, and notice some suppressive fire from my Laser rifle covering him from enemies around him.

When you filled out your CoC that has authorized you to be a DSA Cadet. Proving your loyalty to DSA is also pretty important too, so keep that in mind as well when you are trying to get to higher ranks. I did go ahead and give you your pay just now for last Thursday's practice as since you ran with Rion_0 while he was on. You also got paid for sunday practice.

As for the logistics, consider the layouts for the Prototype levels of the racial variants.

            Caldari Logi proto
            5 High slots
            4 Low slots
            3 equipment

            Amarr Logi proto
            3 high slots
            4 low slots
            3 equipment
sidearm (amarr logi is only logi with sidearm)

            Gallente Logi proto
            3 high slots
            5 low slots
            4 equipment

            Minmatar Logi proto
            4 high slots
            4 low slots
            4 equipment

Note that the Amarr logi has a sidearm, unlike the others. Other logis will have more slots than the amarr but however, amarr have more standard hp than other logis.

Another thing that I found interesting about the Amarr logi is that the advanced logi is awesome at advanced level. Compare the ADVANCED racial variants now, and look how the other variants lose lots of slots when they only use advanced. Amarr logis still have lots of slots, equipment, and of course a sidearm.

            Caldari logi Advanced
            3 high slots
            2 low slots
            3 equipment

            Amarr Logi ADV
            3 high slots
            3 low slots
            3 equipment

            Gallente Logi ADV
            2 high slots
            3 low slots
            3 equipment

            Minmatar Logi ADV
            3 high slots
            3 low slots
            3 equipment

Notice that all the other races lost more than one module slot but Amarr logis only lose 1 slot when running advanced.

So what do we learn here?

We see that the Amarr logi is very well worth its price at advanced level even when you do have access to prototype suits.

So that means that with ADV amarr logi you will make lots of money with them, you can run 3 equipment, and you can stay alive very well because you can put about 670 armor (max) and a couple hundred hp in shields. They are also excellent for when you want to snipe and when you have swarm launchers.

Nicely done, wish I could have been there. I hate being sick and missing out on cool stuff like this.

Yes you have, so you are a member. That's what I was trying to tell you lol. But you can only get commission for one character, so just try to stay focused more on your Terrorist No.1 account. This one is coming along pretty well.

@DSABOSS: There will be plenty of more where that came from, the people that we play on teams with are very good players who can easily do things like recording, editing and stuff. We'll see if we can keep in touch with players like Ratamaq so that our gaming sessions are very enjoyable, and also so that others can see how we operate as a unit.

@K1Gibson: I'm sorry to hear about your daughter brother. I hope everything can get sorted out smoothly and that she returns to full health swiftly.

@ Kuroi - That one definitely has to go in the lore somehow. Lol you just show up and run over a guy that barely even spawned in! hilarious.

That would be cool to get more gameplay like this but with the squad running a lot tighter. It would be awesome to get some gameplay where all of us are on the screen at once and the logi is repairing us as we move up.

That was so hilarious that I HAVE to include it into the lore somehow lol.
You are learning the game very quickly and effectively Kuroi, great job! Your ISK wallet is increasing at a very fast rate as well, this shows that you are balancing your suit cost with effectiveness. This is very important for any DUST player. Seeing how you are an accountant, I im not surprised that you handle your money very well.

Drunk Nights are also usually internet televised, so you can expect more videos with us in them at some point in the future as well.
