Congrats .. Fitz. Even if that is not your dream job in a dream location, once you get a couple years under your belt of practical experience you will become more valuable.

I think APAT is from those parts originally and still have family near. Or maybe it was ND. And Jake lives in the Western part of Iowa which is not too terribly far away.

If you want, send me your resume. My wife is in Group Manager for a promotional marketing firm called Tracy Locke. She handles 90% of the recruiting/interviewing for them. http://www.tracylocke.com/ Check them out for more information.

They occasionally have a need for programmers, specifically mobile software programmers. I think we talk before that you are familiar with that type of programming. In fact, I think you said you'd work on an idea I suggested for one of your class projects. What the hell happened ? ;) If you have any graphical design experience it would help. I have no idea if they have an opening now or not. But you never know what the future holds.

They have offices all over but their main offices are in Samford, CT - Dallas, TX - New York, NY.

To that mysterious realm, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave

            ND32479@HOTMAIL.COM

It was basically an app that would toggle your phones modes (silent, vibrate only, ring) based on self defined GPS coordinates. For example, I could mark my GPS position at home to have my phone automatically be on "ring" but when I leave that area it would go on vibrate. I think you posted a thread a year or two ago looking for ideas for a GPS driven app you had to create for a class. You said you took the idea to your professor and he said it was too simple! LOL. In the thread we discussed other applications for it, like being able to download designated "silent" locations. For example, if you wanted your phone to automatically go on silent mode in Movie Theatres, or Churches, you could choose that download the GPS coordinates for all of them in your area so your phone would know when you were in a movie theatre. But I think what would really drive this the work place policies that dictate your phone is on silent. inevitable someone always forgets. If the boss finds out about an app like this, he would pretty much tell everyone to get it!

You develop it, I will sell it! 50/50 split! ABCs SHARK TANK here I come! LOL.

Congrats Fitz! I lived in Fargo, ND for a while. Pierre will be a bit warmer .. which is a good thing. Not too far from Gettysburg. The first job is the toughest one to land. Put your time in and you may enjoy the city. If not you'll have experience and can nab a position in a new location.
