No power till yesterday. Hooray ice storms!

Had a few inches of snow and sleet and another half inch or more of ice Friday and Saturday it's 60. Gotta love NC weather!

Similar to what we got a couple of weeks ago Norm. I live in Lexington, SC where we received 4 inches of ice and snow. My family in Aiken, SC lost power for up to a week from all of the freezing rain. They had thousands of trees down on roads and houses.

Regent, your bad ice storm a couple of weeks ago ended up being our close to a foot of snow storm. We haven't had a good ice storm in about 10 years so a ton of pines and other weak trees went down this time. Even had a gas station lose its canopy.

The other fun thing was we had the ice and the next day it started to melt. Well the snow/sleet/ice mix was blocking storm drains so that lead to some flooding.

Just a weird mix of fun times in NC!
