Crazy turn of events

Well as most of you know I started college about a month ago and haven't been spending much time online, also because everyone is on the ps4. well i might be joining the ps4 crew soon. How is this going to happen? well just listen to little crazy story:

While i've been on campus i've been playing basketball fairly often, almost everyday. Well one day I see a man that I would say is around 40 years old shooting around in one of the courts. At that time I was waiting for an ongoing game to finish so i could join but got bored of waiting and decided to play with the man. I talked to the man and he gave me some pointers as to how to play basketball, but i still didnt really know who he was. After that day I would see him in what we call in my university the "university center," I would usually stop and say hi, and talk for a little and what not. So yesterday he sees me again and he finally tells me who he is...... He was the director of the damn university center and offered me a job to work for him.

And that ladies and gentlemen is how i'm about to get my first job and save to get a ps4. crazy ain't it

That is cool. And there is a valuable lesson as well. There is a saying, "It's not always what you know, but who you know". So while you are at college learning, make sure to attend EVERY career day to meet the recruiters that come to your campus. Even as a Freshman you should be networking with them and making yourself known to them. Additionally, once you declare a major, join the various organizations that surround that major/career. They often will bring in guest speakers who work in the field of study. While these people are they to share information with you, make no mistake, they are looking for prospective people for their company.

So while at college get a great education and study hard. But learn the art of networking as well. Just as you met the right person who offered you your first job, you can meet the right person by networking to get your first job, and even help later in your career with promotions or being recruited to another company for more money!

Congrats on the job. Sounds like it will be a fun college job to make a few extra bucks! I had to serve food and deliver furniture. Both sucked.

LMAO! Very funny. It sucked for me because I worked in a cafe' that was for college staff only. Many of the professors were just rude as hell! The best part was getting laid in the walk-in cooler, the back storage room, and food delivery elevator! So in a way, a pair of tits did make the job better.:D

If i get the destiny bundle it would be the same as if i get the ps4 with a year of plus. I would rather get a regular one with bf4 and plus it comes out to be cheaper. Plus Whats the point of having the games of i cant play online.
