That was actually Matt Smith's Doctor that I was cosplaying as. It's okay though, there are 12 of them (13 if you count John Hurt), so it's easy to confuse them. Although I'm sure David Tennant would be proud too since he loves all things Doctor Who. :p

Man I had such an awesome time. I didn't take as many pictures as I hoped to but over 20 people stopped me to take my picture and compliment how good I looked.

And I got to meet the one and only River Song. The awkward smile on my face is just me screaming internally "I'M STANDING NEXT TO THE DOCTORS WIFE OMFGGGG"

We love Halloween, Daz and myself are our cities largest yard haunts. We live for this one day out of the year, as I utterly despise the modern X-Mas, what Christmas has become today. It's the one day out of the year that we are able to share our love for this Holiday with our community. We give them scares, candy, and lots of love with our free concession stand with two popcorn machines, hot cider, and hot cocoa, all for free. :D

And we love all the people that come out all on their own to help us all night in the bitter cold, to help share the love with us, for all the little ones and their loved ones.
It's not easy to volunteer to stand all night out in the cold, just to make some little ones scared for a bit, and then happy.

For Yentis, and all our other volunteers, we thank you, and you all make us happy. We couldn't have all these screams, and laughs, without you.

Yes, it's beyond hard work setting all this up, but we couldn't do it all without you. To hear that one child look up to his mother and say: "I wish this was our house, this is awesome !." :D

A month ago, some one dropped a kitten near our house, and my mother heard our neighbors 15 dogs barking near her, and told me that the kitten needed help, as she thought it was one of our nearby rescue cats.

So I went outside and called to the kitten, and she ran up to me wearing a little green collar. I quickly realized that this was not one of our rescue cats, as all the feral cats we feed don't have collars. And this little kitten ran up to me and meowed sadly, and begged to be picked up, and I realized this sweet dear kitten had been abandoned. And left to die, at such a very young age.

So we took her into our home, and she quickly won over our hearts, because this kitten doesn't know know the word "Stranger". All she knows is love, kindness, and compassion. And my family grew to love her so much.

So much so that my niece held her, and told her mother;

I love you so much Trixie [the name we gave her], I wish we could live here forever.

The love that we have can mean so much, and can change lives. And I've learned that by being DSA.

That when life challenges us, we can stand together, and make a difference. And why I'm so beyond proud to call you all my family over all these years.

It's because we care, and that's what makes the DSA special.

It's been many years, but what makes this clan unique, and special, is you.

And I thank God for it, and you.

My "wonderful" next door neighbor with 15 barking and screaming dogs moved away a few days ago. THANK GOD !!!! :D. Nothing like having to work nights, and be awoken up every single morning by barking and screaming dogs at 7am that she let out to shit and piss. So very glad to have that animal hoarder go away.

It was so bad that on Halloweens, our other neighbors would ask us "How in the Hell can you stand to live next to all that constant barking ?"

But now she's gone, and we now all have blessed silence. :D
