Being a Stormtrooper in the 501st. makes me very happy. And I loved this video. Andrew Ainsworth, the man that made the original stormy armor, shows step by step everything he did to make the original Stormy helmet for the original movie. :

For many, I know this may be boring. But I found it fascinating. Mr. Ainsworth started selling his armor and helmets, thinking that since he made them by hand, he owned the I.P. rights to it, since he actually created it. But Lucasfilm quickly disagreed, saying they owned the rights to the design, because the gave him the basic design to begin with. And a huge legal battle ensued.

And it ended 50/50. It was decided that Ainsworth could sell his helmets and armors, but only in England, where he created them, but could not have a legal distributor in the U.S., but you can still buy them legally internationally, from him, from England, on the internet.

My Stormy armor isn't from him, but I have to give mad respect to the man that made all these wonderful costumes and armors we all wear in the 501st., in the first place.

What I found amazing was that the original Stormy lenses were made in a very dark green, unlike the dark black ones we have. And the armor much more flimsy, than the heavy thick armor we use now.

When you watch the OT, all the Stormies, Rebel helmets, Tie Pilot helmets and armor, Imperial gunner helmets and armor, Snowtroopers, Imperial army helmets and armors, and biker scout armors, and much more, were all originally made by this man by hand.

Such amazing craftsmanship. A lot of the things we hold dear in the Star Wars universe, was because of this man, and his own personal vision of just how they should look like.

I've come to the conclusion that Minecraft has the "Sims" syndrome.

You start playing around with it, and then you look up and it's six hours later.
You're just playing with Lego's, only electronically. It's really like the Sims. It really shouldn't be fun. Last night I started the tutorial for the console version, and then started my own game.

So, thinking I was smart, I built an underground tunnel from my house to my mine, so that way I could work on it without those damned monsters getting at me.

Some way, somehow, a damned creeper spawned in my mine, and followed across the entire tunnel system, popped up in my kitchen where the door was, and snuck up on me from behind, and blew up. Killing me, and blowing my house all to Hell. Pissed me off to no end. Having Creepers is bad enough, by why in the heck did they have to make them explode also ???

              I dunno.

I don't think I'd want a car like that. It draws too much attention, and you'd always have to be worried about it. Back when I was stationed in Germany, the teenagers thought it was great fun to find the higher end Mercedes, and snap the symbol off the front of the cars, just to be hateful I guess. They'd wear the emblems around their necks with chains, like some weird necklace. To show how "badass" they were. I've never found vandalism to be funny, or entertaining.

When I was a teen, some of my friends thought it was funny to "core" cars. It's when you take off the cap to the tire, and turn the tire core slowly and let out all the air, so both front tires go flat, without actually damaging the tires.

So that way the poor slob got up the next morning to go to work, and found their car with two flats. Their thinking behind this was; "Well, nobody has two spares, do they ?." I highly doubt those poor victims laughed about it.

They got me good once though. They found an old bowling ball somewhere, and jacked up my front end, and put the bowling ball under the frame of my car. So that way my front end was lifted up just enough by just an inch or so, so when I jumped in my car to leave, the front tires would spin, but my car wouldn't move, and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't moving. Because who in the Hell is going to expect a bowling ball under their car. I didn't get mad, and I did think it was a very creative prank.

My friends were good at pranking people without actually doing any damage, that way they couldn't get into any real trouble with the law. It is against the law to slash someone's tires, but not just letting all the air out of them. But when they did this stupid shit, I was always sure to distance myself and not have any part of it. So that way it couldn't come back on me.

So yeah, I wouldn't want a car like that. Some jealous idiot would "key" it, steal it, or worse. You'd have to be insanely rich just to afford the insurance on it. If I was that rich, I think I'd just bop around in a Volvo. Like how Sam Walton used to drive around in an old beater pick up truck. Nobody's gonna mess with it.

Who says rap music has to be about guns n drugs? This video was just alot of fun to watch. R.A. The Rugged man is probably the best white rapper outthere, i know Light496 would probably agree.
