Blizzard is a cinematic master, especially for Star Craft. I revive this thread for Mishra because she grew up with the old ones and had not seen the new cinematics. So here will be a full showcase of its awesomeness.

Going in chronological order, we actually have to start off with a fan cinematic. This is no cutrate work, this is high quality stuff here. Start here if you would like to see the understanding of the first contacts.

Starcraft - First Contact

The original Starcraft one and brood war cinematics are a classic in gaming history. Of course, the actual gameplay expounds the storyline in more detail, but the clips here depict Starcrafts essense in a superb way. The beginning of Kerrigan happens when her general strands her on a Zerg occupied planet, and they mutilate her into one of them.

Key characters:
Arcturus Mengsk: Tyrant king of the Human race

Jim Raynor: Rebel human against Arcturus for his betrayal on the woman he loves (kerrigan)

Tassadar: Commanding general of the protoss high templars.

Fenix: Protoss ground force commander of the Zealots (they have laser blades on their wrists)

Kerrigan: Covert ops specialist who befriends Jim Raynor. She becomes the main villan of the terran when she is mutated into a zerg.

Brood War:

In between the first and second games, you have the final metamorphosis of Kerrigan, along with the abominable Protoss dark Archon being forged to unleash hell wherever they tread. According to protoss rule, templars are forbidden to use ther void knowledge to merge into these. In the actual game, dark templars are the outcasts of the protoss. This is important becase a certain dark templar will become a main character in the 2nd starcraft series.

Main characters here:
Kerrigan: Zerg queen of blades
Tassadar: Protoss High Templar General (they fight in this clip)

Also:
Ulrezaj: The dark archon that is forged by the sacrifice of 4 dark templar, they use powers of the void to become one.


So these events ^^ take place at around the same time as the beginning of wings of liberty.

The Archons in destiny arent shit compared to the Archons in Starcraft. Immense power, and some can even mind controll enemy units and machines, pilots, and infantry.

The Starcraft FPS called Starcraft Ghost (thought to be scrapped until recently) began with the introduction of another covert ops unit chick, named Nova. She would have been the main character that you played as for this game, however, it was postponed indefinitely while it was being developed for PS2.

Nova would return in the 2nd starcraft as well, so here is a brief insight of her types of missions. The battalion that deploys on a supposed weakened zerg hive is in for a big surprise.

This is the premiere of Starcraft 2 for the thread. I went with the uber thourough version that has every cutscene, interaction, and intro mission clip perfectly mastered to give you all the full experience. Starcraft has a very good storyline, and it wouldn't have felt right to give yall the watered down, cinematic only versions that alot of youtubers did. This guy put everything together flawlessly and deserves the credit for it.

The time of this is similar to a full length feature film, and it basically feels like you are watching one. This is episode one of the Starcraft 2 saga.

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm

By now, if you havent made some popcorn, grabbed some snacks, munchies, take out, or whatever, then you're doin this wrong. This series has been designed for you to enjoy in multiple sit-downs, at the convenience of your time. The 2nd part of starcraft 2 has a very good, and in depth look at the Zerg point of view. You play as kerrigan, after the events from Wings of Liberty.

Watch as more plot unfolds in this edited full length feature film.
