    Buying a Gaming PC

Hey guys :) So Quinn (my boyfriend) and I are looking to buy a good gaming PC and I'll be honest here: We have no idea what we're looking at =_=""

Can someone recommend some PCs for us? We're looking to get something that will definitely run The Witcher 3 (one of the most power consuming PC games) at a better than minimal level but not going over $1,100 (if possible, if not, we can throw in a hundred or two).

    Thanks in advance, everyone!

    I would build a PC

A couple of pointers. A SSD will be better for you. Have your OS on the SSD along with your applications and a game or two. Then have a second conventional HDD for your storage/documents. Also a good video card and PSU to run it will be important. There is always RAM and you can never have enough of it.

The think the GTX 970 is pretty good for running the game. ATI is releasing their 3XX stuff during E3 so their 2XX stuff should be on sell shortly there after.

Just ball parking it, CPU, Memory, Storage, GPU, and PSU will run you about 3/4's the total you want to spend.

Building a PC would be the way to go. You can't control what parts are installed in your PC when you buy them.

I would recommend building one too, It goes a long way, And it is also a learning experience.

      The things you'd need are:

      -Computer Case
      -Motherboard
      -Processor
      -Ram
      -PSU
      -HDD/SSD
-Graphics card(This will determine overall game performance)
      -Mouse(Razer is pretty good)
      -A keyboard(Of course)
The process can be a bit....intimidating when you see all of the parts, But once you've completed building it you'll want to look forward to building your next computer.

Let us know what you wish to do :).

I think that one of the issues that Quinn and I were having about building our own PC is that we don't really know how. We really have no one to guide us on how and where to put every piece together, you know? Also, we don't really know how to look at graphic cards, RAM, or any of that stuff. If someone (like Mui, maybe?) can teach us, and shop along with us, on Skype, then we can definitely do it.

I'll be totally honest, half of what you're saying is flying right over my head. Can you maybe add me on Skype and explain to me what all those things are and/or perhaps help us out a little shopping for parts?
