I went to staples and bought one for $40.00 just ask for a USB Headset and tell them it is for PS2. The reason why mine was a little more is because it is nice and it has two ear phones meaning you can hear from both ears.

if a mic has a usb plug it will work with the ps2 right even with it being meant for the pc

Never knew about that one.It makes me wanna buy it.I bought my logitech mic for 39.99 at toysrus last year.Surely the price has gone down by now hasn't it?
And surely it has.The Headset should cost you 19.99 at Gamestop. Now thats what im talking dirtcheap mate: (Same mic I have)http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801724

I don't think it will work out with a PC mic.Since it may not read anything when plugged in.Try it if you must, but remember that pluging anything not meant for the PS2 could screw your system up.
