Italy really had nice form against the Ukraine--better than they have looked since their first match.

France Brazil was amazing. To see Zizou doing what he did was just remarkable. But I thought a couple of French players were offsides on that free-kick, not Henry, but a couple of others. I would think that they were interfering with the play.

I agree with most of your points Zabka. It would be hard to call that goal back on an offsides. I would much rather see the game decided on a great play than on a penalty kick format. The way the French dominated, I was surprised it wasn't 3-0.

Honestly, Italy hasnt had to face the toughest competition yet, they really havent had to face off with a powerhouse like germany has, so i dont know how they will deal with a team that is doing that well. Germany has been playing really well, even though they didnt play that great against argentina they still came out on top.

My poor poor Brazil..lol Well what can i say other than France totally kicked their ass. I mean Brazil was fierce throught the games i thought and then completly fell off their game against France. I had nothing to really argue about in that game..just a whole lot of dissapointment.

Sooo then today I'm like okay well since Brazil is out im gonna go for Portugal not to win the world cup but to at least knock out France. Hmm what happens again? France beats Portugal now. However i must say it was a great match put up by Portugal and i really didnt feel that Zidane deserved that penalty kick cuz in all honestly that was a bullshit call. But hey he got the ball in(NO SURPRISE ITS FREAKIN ZIDANE..lol) and eventually won the match for his team.

Well world cup..ITALY vs. FRANCE...any predictions guys? My personal opinion. I have respect for both teams but i hope ITALY destroys France for knocking out my brazil! :oops:

Honestly, i want france to win, but i think Italy will because they have been playing a lot better and have Buffon inbetween the posts which is like a brick wall and sorry sithwarrior but im pretty sure the 2014 world cup in gonna be in brazil.

I am a bit ticked for Germany losing to Italy but at least they are going for 3rd lol. As for the final match I am voting for Italy only cause I think they play better but I still don't like that they beat Germany.

As much as I want Italy to win, I get so aggravated at how bad they dive...it really shows how bad the officiating truly is as well. I almost think soccer should bring another official on the field ala ice hockey.

The level of play would be much better if the yellow and red cards were saved for fouls that deserved them.
