    Star Wars battlefront 2-PC version

Yep.Its in the bargain bin personally I think its worth the buy for 20.00$ thats a price you cannot miss out on.
I bought it the other day and I love the mod maps, but this will not take me away from my comfortability with the ps2 controls.

Here are some screenshots of some battles and some modmaps i've played on:
Edited:PM incase you desire to see more mod map stuff.I took them down to save my bandwidth.

p.s. how is the control scheme for this(what is it?)

Yea alittlebit, but the PS2 version gets more of an audience I feel since im suprised people aren't hyped to be able to have 64 people in one room kicking each others butt around in the PC version.Yet our PS2 version was the abandoned one which can only handle 24 and we get more people :D.

Wow Kamui, the graphics are really nice. As Christ stated, how are the controls on the keyboard i.e. pain or easy to use. How much HDD space does the program take up and how well does it run with 64 people in the room?

how are the controls on the keyboard
There a pain in the ass 8O .I have the converter to use my PS2 controller. The only pain I get with the PS2 controller is setting it up for space and for ground combat is the rolling button which is mingled with the crouch button.
How much HDD space does the program take
Takes about 4.GB from your harddrive and you'll need plenty of space left over to run the game.
how well does it run with 64 people in the room?
I have never seen a fully packed room. The most was about 23 people, but that was it.My guess people are waiting for that new server manager 8)

              TnL Lighting

Christ I think one of the biggest things is having a graphics card that supports tnl lighting. I havent heard of tnl lighting until this game. The game is playable without a tnl capable video card, but with some long delays on loading some screens, and the occasional crash. With the long delays of loading the screens makes it almost impossible for me to play online cause I always lose the connection :( . I did find an emulator that seems to make it run a little better. I will post the name of the program as soon as I get off of work.

The keyboard controls suck, but you can give the ai a few more commands, like stay put, follow me, move out. Yeah the only trouble I have found with the ps2 controller adapter is setting the roll. Besides that the graphics kick ass, and the mods are pretty cool. I like the Arena Assault. The one I have has IG-88, he is a bad mf'er lol.

WHERE DID YOU GET THAT MOD?????

(to look for a 64 player room go to online options when you are online and change it to find all regions or something like that.)

I got my mods from Gametoast.com.A brilliant site that has mod maps for SWBF2 and Star wars empire at war.

This is the section where you can find completed mod maps:

Well it isn't completely exciting since there doesn't seem to be a way to host mod maps right now on the server manager. otherwise it'd be more interesting then playing those maps single player. You can host the mod maps, but it'll only take up to 4 people max and it won't be through the server manager.

                        graphics card

ok so I go out last night and drop some money down on a video card. Not the most expensive, but supposedly enough to run the game, and supposedly better than the "stock" card right? Well everything in the game loads at the correct speed. Actually everything loads fast from my media center options, my pictures everything, and heres the big BUT, When I try and play the damn game it slows down, and is very choppy. WTF? At least I could play the game with the generic video card. Now I can't even do that.

How much Memory do you have on your computer? That could be it because my old computer had memory problems and it moved my game very slow and choppy.Usually high graphic games take up alot of memory demanding the computers attention with no other big programs open...
Gonna take down the pictures to save some bandwidth.PM me if you would like to see other mod map stuff.

                            found out whats wrong

I found out whats wrong. The website I looked at said the card I bought would work, but I found another that said it will not work. My dumb fault for not investigating more. No my cpu is a media center. 400gb hard drive, 1gb ram (i think its ram) ,and I have a dual core 3.0 ghz pent. its really a pretty new cpu, less than a year old.
