    dsa jedi battles

they used to b kool everything was okay, glitchers were rare well the glitchers wont ever stop. but now every 1 abuses pull i hate it sometimes i mean almost all the time. there is alot of people in the DSA jedi battles server that double pull which makes it impossible for u to defend your self and then those other people that pull like 1 feet away from u so u wont attack man thats getting annoying.

lol i edited it twice damn i suk at typing!

It only teaches you to be more weary and look at all of your surroundings rather than what's ahead of you. I think it's good for my training as i find numerous ways of how to take out numbers of people who just stand there and wait for you to come out. BUT it also makes you more of a target because everyone wants revenge on you and then like to be stupid and harass you. So really yes their is good and bad to this but it depends on how you look at it. Let your feelings get the best of you, AND YOU DIE lol

The glitchers and Tkers will never end. There are alot of people who will do the glitchs out of curiosity, but there are also some who will do it for there own gain.(i.e going in the glitch in the cantina as yoda and pulling people to you.)
There are times when the server isn't full of people pulling everywhere.Maybe you'll come accross a few playrs, but thats it.
I think this should give you experience to deal with future battles in game as it has to most veterans to jedi battles.
The best thing to do is just deal with it and learn from it.Create your own ideas and tactics for overcoming your enemy.

The best suggestion I could come up with is making the jedi battle server team damage off with all the people abusing the privileage with it being on.Thats my suggestion at least.

I'll be the first to admit I double pull a lot, since I despise force pushing. I consider it a skill personally, but you have to be very careful you don't get overly reliant on it because your other skills will suffer. People cry about it all the time, but in my experience skilled players have no problem overcoming it they simply chase you with their block on. I know I have made people better at doing it, Tomahawk for instance has become incredible at sneaking up behind me out of nowhere with Luke and choking me from behind. It also incourages team work. The simplest way to over come double pull is run in pairs, that way when one gets pulled the other one can come to your rescue, obvioulsy this doesn't help if you get pulled from really long range since your wing man is dead by the time you get there.

You're right, it does make you a target for revenge which I find fun as hell! Sit on top of that tall building next to the Cantina and play king of the hill!

I used to be an avid ki mundi user with double pull, but it realy gets to easy , i find push a harder move to utilize , and it actauly gives the enemy the chance to fight back. I too hate hen people class whore aayla and sit in the dark side base and pull them where they apear. Let them fight if you want it fair , otherwie i see you as having no skill.

I'm not a fan of the pull, push, choke or any of it when there are a ton of people in there. If you want to square off and have a 1 on 1 battle then I don't mind so much. It's hard when you're blocking a force power in front of you and behind you on the roof is someone that pulls you or you're fighting and all of the sudden you and your opponent go flying through the air.

I love fighting in the NF server. I may not be as good with a single saber as Tomahawk and others, but I'm finding out it takes a lot of skill and a bit of luck to win a 1 on 1 NF battle.

I "Never" force pull it's way to cheap. And when people double pull thats when i break out the infinite chocke to waste their time . O and goliath my advice for you is this....

When your on 1 on1 I can usally win by charging then making a sudden leap to the left or right. then you just kinda jump last sec when they charge you. while they r stuck on the wall u just slam a few times

                Lock

One thing I noticed very quickly in the NFP battles is people using the lock on. It's kinda of weak cuz a guy will dodge you or jump over and you can just swing right around automatically and slice them up. It's kind of weak IMO.

The lock-on feature is good for certain things, like rocket launchers or Piloting ships. That makes sense to me. Other then that its nothing more then another form of auto aim for n00bs.
Personally i find it anoying, especially when your trying to fight off a wave of enemies and you accidently hit the Square button. Now your stuck looking at the guy 100 yards away when all you really wanna do is turn and shot the guy charging on your left. And holding the button down to get rid of it while in the heat of battle isnt the easiest thing.

Unfortunatly there is no way of globally turning this feature off, or to even moderate its use. And with no future patches planned EVER by pandemic for the ps2 version, it is something we will have to live with. But knowing that your enemy had to use it to kill you while you fought without, win or lose you know your better.

I'll agree with Ratix, the lock on at the far enemy is annoying, especially during the space battles.

With the NF, I'll use the lock on because some people will "hide" in the shadows and wait for you to come out of the Cantina. It helps me pick them up easier. As far as using it when people jump over you. I never knew that would work. Everytime someone who is locked on is not on my screen anymore the lock on disappears. If you jump at me and attack and you miss by going over me I'm going to blackslash. That's just common sense..lol

I admit i've used it alot jedi battles after experimenting on it.Especially a few times on Conquest.Ratix you are right about it hindering anyone especially if there is more then one enemy.
I use in in Jedi battles mostly with Choke so I won't miss and accidentally choke my ally.
Though i'll always play a fair fight and change my battle tactice just for an even game.

I dont realy mind pull as much if its not used by Aayla , I think its fine by mundi or yoda so you can have some chance of escape.but with aayla her way of attacking can almost over power everone elses style, when she double pulls you you pretty much can kiss your ass goodbye. And her charge attack in the only one that can kill completely in one charge , so realy im just hating oaayla i belive she's overpowered.I find myself wondering if thats the only character on the heros side some games.I prefer obi -wan now or luke sometimes mace depending on what enemies i take. But is it just me or does obi-wan tend to not finish his attacks for a kill on vader, dooku and grevious?

I admit it, I am a total Secura whore! As the months went on I just slowly settled on her because I can just do so much damage with her. Otherwise I will use Mace just for the ground punch, even though it leaves you wide open to counter attack, but he is good for fighting of TKers. I think conehead is almost as powerful as Secura honestly, even though it seems Secura has a bit more range with the pull. I hoenstly think I haev made a lot of players better when using Secura since it forces them to be sneaky and use team work to take me out.

Honestly my favorite thing is to remote rocket villians, especially flying it into the Cantina when the villians are all hiding in there to keep from getting pulled, but someone always finds me after a few minutes. Also very handy for getting the Villians to stop spawn camping at the hangar since as soon as the first few rockets hit, they go searching for my wookie and clear out of the hangar.

Its kinda hard to pull away from Secura i know , normal i can get abput 40 kills average with kenobi but i tried a game using only aayla and i got up to 85 kills, it just too easy for me , i like to give the enemy a fighting chance.
