I have heard many fustrated voices on how the DSA does not have an area in the forum where individuals from outside (or even inside) the clan can challenge individuals within the clan. The Clan Battles area does not seem suitable for such an interesting endevour, so I believe that this idea should have its own seperate area of the forum, if this idea were to be put into effect.

Also, the DSA does not have a place to specifically report glitchers, cheaters, etc. I believe that a specific "sticky-enabled" topic be posted in the same manner of the TKer report forum. This way the DSA can track and specifically ban players for an absolutely known reason, so that when this player comes on the DSA site and complains about being banned, the DSA can respond with regards to the reason in which the player was banned.

Another idea of mine would to enact a special server for clan meetings, discusion, and trials. I say trials in regards to a "court-like" system, with atleast 5 jury, the Emperor himself as judge, any witnesses, and the persecuted defending himself with the evidence from the witnesses. This "courtroom" would help decide interclan problems with members, decide whether or not a certain player should be unbanned, etc. etc. etc. The clan members could rotate jury-duty, with atleast one member in the Grand Ranks at all times. Such a server could run on Wendsdays when nothing is planned.

These are only my ideas for improvement, and I wish for them to be treated as such. Please respond to them however you like. Hopefully atleast one of them will be enacted, but of course, that is not my decision to make.

The question about a court system:It sounds like a good idea.To give certain individuals a chance to redeem themselves.There are alot of people however who don't come to this site who player in the servers so theres no way for them to redeem themsevles.

Now for your question about separate challenges: Um I think its great personally,but I myself prefer clan matchs over 1 on 1s.However im sure there are a majority of people that may love the idea.

You are right that there is no forum for individual challenges from other clans. Folks can request single challenges in our “Clan Battles” forum. This may not be the best area to do so but I rarely see one on one request from other clans thus the reason a specific forum does not exist. We do have a specific forum for intra-clan rank challenges but you will not have access to this thread until you achieve officer status.

Brigadier Kamui has already addressed your second request so I have nothing to add.

Your third idea does sound good but you must understand that our High Counsel makes these decisions and their decisions are absolute. Think of it in a military way but without the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) not to mention that we give civilians no such resolve because they are not Officers or Stormtroopers. Basically, our justice system revolves around that of the Darkside which is absolutism. If a DSA Officer or Stromtrooper calls out a civilian that breaks the rules in our servers and request banning, the High Counsel or a counsel member will usually ban the civilian without question. The rebuttal process for civilians is by PM request to the Emperor. The Emperor will make the decision himself to re-instate or consult the counsel. This is entirely up to the Emperor.

For Officer and Stormtrooper status, the rules are a bit more complicated. I would imagine that such status could grant the accused an audience with the High Counsel when requested. Usually, the accused is questioned by the High Counsel and a decision is made.

Good thoughts Goliath. We appreciate your interest in this area. If anything I have mentioned here is not in alignment with the counsel, I am sure a counsel member will further clarify.

Your thoughts are appreciated, Goliath--but the TK issue is handled already. As for the individual duels, people can PM other members of the site to such things if they want, but I don't think we need to set this up for them with a forum--actually, we have a ladder that we used to use for duels that we haven't done in a while. It could be useful for recruiting purposes, but otherwise, too much work. Finally, there is a place for individuals from within the clan to schedule duels---but that is for rank battles with certain rules and only applies to Officers and above. Troopers who are still awaiting the opportunity to become Officers do not have access to those forums.

Finally, and most importantly, we used to have a teamspeak server for meetings--I believe that we still have that capacity, but haven't used it in a while. Beyond that, DSA is not a representative government. This is benevolent dictatorship. As with all dictatorships, the Emperor has complete discretion on how he chooses to handle situations. He can solicit help from the Council, or he can investigate on his own, or he can just boot people because he feels he needs to. He is judge, jury, and executioner. He allows the higher ranks a lot of latitude to lead under certain situations, but in all cases, the principles and interests of DSA are expected to be upheld. Some people may prefer more of an egalitarian system. Those people are welcome to join other clans.
