    Quiz

    1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

    2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?

    3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?

    4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

    5. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching.

Elite there are actually another 6 words that end in gry.

This is from the site http://www.sls.lib.il.us/reference/p...es/99/gry.html

The most widely quoted source for words with the suffix -gry is the Oxford English Dictionary (second edition), which lists six words in addition to angry and hungry: aggry, a glass bead found buried in the soil of Ghana; anhungry, a word used by Shakespeare to mean "not hungry"; meagry, of meager appearance; podagry, gout in the feet; puggry, an alternate spelling for puggree, a light scarf worn around a hat or helmet to protect one's head from the sun; and gry itself, a word meaning variously "the grunt of a pig," "the dirt under a fingernail," "the veriest trifle," or "to rage, roar." Some of these unusual words from the OED may also be found in dictionaries of American English; in particular, Webster's Third International Dictionary of the English Language and Funk & Wagnalls New Standard Dictionary.

lol tomahawk are those common words that people use everyday? maybe in canada...

this riddle is meant to throw you off because of how it's worded. in reality it should be worded:

Angry and hungry are two words that end in '-gry'. There are three words in ''the English language''. What is the third word? Everyone knows what it means and everyone uses it every day. Look closely and I have already given you the third word. What is it?

                        The, is the first word
                        English, is the second
                        LANGUAGE, is the third

                        'nother one please elite!

You have written this one wrong actually. Also, this one employs a pun, so reading it makes it not work. You have to tell them to read it out loud.
