Within this week, my electronic posessions have expressed some hatred for me. I spent most of tuesday night wiping, reformatting and reinstalling everything on my pc. Couldn;t say exactly what was wrong cuz answers eluded me, but needless to say that was a last resort. And last night, while trying to come on and play, my ps2 died. It keeps makin an odd clicking oise after i put the disc in. It'll try and read it but it always goes back to the browser screen where it shows my memory card and a disc. I pulled it apart today in an attempt to fix it. I've done this before to my last ps2, but this one is definetly dead. And to top it all off, I went as far as hookin up my roommates console to get some play in. For some reason it gets stuck on the loading screen when you're waiting to get into a server. The tips keep reading and changing as normal, but it never lets me in. I think my game disc is fuct as well. So all that being said, if i'm not around temporarily, this is why. Should this weekend go well at the restaraunt i work at, i'll be back then. Even if it doesnt go well, it won;t be much afte the weekend that i come back. I can get a refurned ps2 and a new bf2 for about $125. See you guys soon!!

That bites the big one Taco. When it rains, it sure pours your way. Sure seems like your electronic gear is out to get you. LOL!

That does suck. Good luck with the funds accumulation. Refurbed ps2's are cheap--and even the new ones are so low in price.

That sux Taco. You'll be back in no time. About 3 1/2 years ago my ps2 kept giving me the dreaded disc read error. I sent it to Irvine to get fixed, it was gone for a month. If I could last a month w/o THPS then 2 weeks shouldn't be too bad. Heh, I ended up trading that ps2 in the first disc read error I saw again. Wasn't gonna wait a month twice :D

if the rest of this weekend continues like tonight fundage-wise, i should be clear
by sunday night. Where exactly should i go to get a refurb ps2 and bf2 disc at 10 pm sunday. I only ask this cuz i'm already twitching from lack of play!! 8O

10pm down where you live on a Sunday? that will be tough. Unless you can put it on a credit card and pick it up early (and if you have the discipline to make sure you can pay it off) or if somebody can spot it for you with funds delivered in 24 hours. Otherwise, looks like that itch just might not get scratched.

I feel your pain. I am also down for the count. During thursday night's game, a tree fell on a power line and everything went up like a roman candle. Power has been out since. Luckily, I've got gas heat in the basement, so all of my animals are stored up there. I'm just itching to get back to some battlefront! Hopefully I'll see you guys soon!
