It really doesnt matter that you are freelancing, you were the one who was banned and as a result the rest of TLJ was banned as well. So you freelancing really has no effect.

You know Hobo, what you CAN do is ask for the rest of your clan to be unbanned, and only you are banned, so that other people aren't effected.
