Sound strange, yes. I didn't believe it when I first saw the flyer for it. Apparently the Drama Club is in desperate need of money (then why not just throw in the $600 to the club yourself?) because they miscalculated on the amount of money to put on "Aida". Oops.
Apparently it's the 60 gig hard drive version also (hence the $600). Torn in two over this. On one hand, there's the chance to get a PS3 for $1, but I'd probably go and put in $10 for twelve chances. On the other hand, there's the fact that I have an X-Box 360 and have to spend $60 on games. And the fact that the system right now is crappy and needs what the 360 needed last year.
Any advice? I know Boss has the PS3, so if you have any advice, I'll listen. Regardless, it's $10 i'm giving up, and I have classes with both the director and the musical director. The thing I'm concerned about is if by some twist of fate I actually win this thing.
