EAST

(1) Sabres vs (8) Islanders -- Prediction: Sabres in 5 games
(2) Devils vs (7) Lightning -- Prediction: Lightning in 7 games
(3) Thrashers vs (6) Rangers -- Prediction: Thrashers in 6 games
(4) Senators vs (5) Penguins -- Prediction: Sens in 7 games

WEST

(1) Red Wings vs (8) Flames -- Prediction: Red Wings in 7 games
(2) Ducks vs (7) Wild -- Prediction: Ducks in 6 games
(3) Vancouver vs (6) Stars -- Prediction: Vancouver in 7 games
(4) Nashville vs (5) Sharks -- Prediction: Sharks in 7 games

Playoff games begin Wednesday April 11th

well i have to differ being from detroit now residing in tennessee i say it will come down to the wings and sabers , but sorry flatline gotts go with the wings in 7 games , but sabers will give them a run for their money

Due to past happenings and friendships, i've grown a liking to the Canucks so they're my number 1 team. Since Christ talks about the Sabres a lot, they've rubbed off onto me as well.

I really wanted the Penguins to overcome the Senators, but doesn't look like that'll happen

I hope it's Vancouver vs. Buffalo for the Stanley Cup...DSA would have a huge hockey party lol

I liked them too except for the part where they ruined our undefeated run in the beginning of the season, and they also got zhitnik, a former sabre, so I had to like them.

Although its funny because we had a player, Miroslav Satan, (not pronounced like you think, its like shatan), but he left to the islanders for money and he gets booed whenever he touches the puck in our arena, just like ovechkin does.

as much as i hate to say it about tony's canucks, I honestly think dallas deserves to be winning that series, they should have won that 4OT game and seem to have been outplaying the canucks, but luongo is keeping them in it, plus they got two former sabres on their team, Pyatt and Fitzpatrick

Well now we got the offseason, and this will be a scary one

Our GM and lindy ruff are secure which is great, but our two co captains are gonna be unrestricited free agents: Drury and Briere

honestly i would rather keep drury over briere if we had to chose

also thomas vanek can go to arbitration during the offseason, at least the salary cap is getting a boost.
