BattleFront 3 Rumor

It will probably give you the option to either play in FPS or third person just as the previous battlefront games did but with a better quality FPS screen (rocket launcher takes up half the screen in FPS mode). I personally think Free Radical's newest titles will give us a heads up on what to expect in battlefront 3 such as Haze with their different units which is very similar to the way battlefront has its own classes of soldiers.

Time will tell.

Another in the online battle sensation set in the Star Wars universe. Publisher LucasArts has not officially announced that it will be making this third entry in the series, but rumors have been strong ever since the blockbuster success of part 2, and further rumors have pointed to new developer Free Radical taking command over in the next battle for galactic conquest.

After Fracture and Force unleashed, what does LA have to hid now? I hope they really announce SWBF3 soon. I don't think SWBF2 sold over SWBF1, but thats just me.

Theres the Game Developers conference in the spring (GDC) I think so maybe we will hear something here :). If not I will be sad.

Man....watch E3 this year(if it happens) and boom SWBF3 and that silly announcer voice"Star wars battlefront 3 buy it on your XBOX360 and P-S-3 system!"
Maybe all of our desires for the SWBF series will finally be fulfilled since if Free Radical really does this game then it'll be good more then likely and maybe they will implement a mapmaker mode in it like they have last FR game I played was Timesplitters 3 so I don't know about their games now a days.
Me personally What I liked about SWBF1 was the maps and the fact that we have ships flying overheard and battling.Also liked the effect vehicles had in that game.When the blasts hit the ground you know you were dead.
With SWBF2 it felt as if things were lacklusters and it was a quickly developed game.This was problaby due to the fact that LA wanted pandemic to be done with the development of SWBF2 so that it can be shipped and manufactured at the same time as Episode 3.The fact that Jedi Assault was only one map on the PS2 just leaves the evidence that they didn't take enough time on this.
Both were great in my book,but to be honest I spent more time on SWBF1 than on SWBF2.With SWBF3 i'm going to say that i'm a fool for looking forward to this since SWBF2 was a let down,but at least i'll give it a chance.

Man....I can dream right? Maybe....this E3?

Lucasarts announcing New Old game on Monday

"LucasArts Games promsies to unveil a new and exciting game based on an existing franchise on Monday.

"Amazing news coming Monday! Super excited! You have no idea how tough it is not to start yelling about it! But it's secret! Until Monday!"

The game, they say, will be "awesome news for old school fans."

While it's possible, with the upcoming rerelease of The Secret of Monkey Island, that this could be another reimagining of one of LucasArts classic adventure games, my money is on something more modern.

When Free Radical gave up the ghost last year, concept art for some pretty spectacular Star Wars Battlefront III ideas shook loose.

What I hope happens is that a new developer is named for the Star Wars shooter, one that can bring dark Obi to life."
