This is the game whose development contract was signed around the time of free radical's with LA. Some people were wondering if Day 1 might be doing a swbf3...and the fact that it was a non-SW game made people believe that Free Radical's secret game will likely be a SWBF3.
My guess is that any SWBF3 game will include environments that are used in the animated series, live action show, or both. So we will likely have to wait at least a couple years for that.
You're the best! Around! Nothings gonna ever keep you down!
Zabka if you thought the smoke tagging in Gears was bad can you imagine if this game has any type of online death match play? Wow imagine being hit with one of those things. Talk about pissing folks off.
I dunno I have to say I play games like Samurai because they are completely mindless. The goals are fun and not to hard and plus you get to several hundred people each game. There's something theraputic about games like that. Maybe this game will be something along those lines.
Yea, I saw it on Spike TV last night. It looks really neat and it seems like a game where massive battles could be possible, but first i'd like to see some gameplay before I start to throw out more speculation.LA hasn't exactly made any points with me since SWBF2.
Well the demo is out and it was so-so. The complaints I had with the demo are pretty much summed up with the PA comic.
The controls were okay. I had a hard time figuring out the torpedo gun. It's like the shock rifle in UT3. You think it's gone far enough, but no it hasn't.
I still think multiplayer in this could be fun for just pure mayhem. I'll give it a rent and see how it does. Using someone as a meat shield in Gears is what I am looking forward too, but getting a kill with a vortex grenade or the one that freezes people is a close second.
