360 has had all these options for some time. As far as HD goes, They are available all over the internet for DL and multiple media bases. I cant speak for Others, but when im deployed I keep all my movies HD and not on an external drive which requires no disc. So in my own mind I think a majority of the populas (buisness based/ working class) are moving away from discs all together (also less chance of it being stolen). I dont have anything against blue ray or ps3. I just prefer not having to tote around discs to watch a movie, the disc space i do have is used for games.
As far as 360 upping the warranty, I only know of one person (im in physical contact with) that had to send it in. He had a new one back in less than a week with no questions asked. Funny thing is, I also know one person who had problems with a PS3 and his turn around time was the same. Guess we'll see where it all leads. Best of luck to both systems. The stats for Wii seem a bit unrealistic thought.
I never doubted PS3's customer service just can't speak of it for myself.
Blu-Ray is pretty much replacing the standard DVD with the quality it offers and the PS3 has a variety of downloadable content (games, demos, trailers, movies, etc) which I see many don't know this. Customer service was great on helping me get started with an online account and to get used to the many features the PS3 offers, even today I find their service reliable.
