    Yes!!!!!

After 3 long years, I finally managed to get away from Hell itself incarnate.

Yep, that's right, after trying for two years, I finally was able to find a new job.
This Tuesday I'll start my training on becoming a new assistant store manager at a new company. That means that I should now be able to participate in more DSA events besides just being late night on Socom and Warhawk.

Good God, how I look upon having night's,weekends, and some holidays off now.

Which in itself is a shame. I always thought that I would look at leaving this former comapny with glee, and joy. But I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness as I was greeted with news of my departure with with warmth, and many handshakes and hugs from my former co-workers. It seems a shame to leave a job that you like, and co-workers that you love, just because you can't stand the people you work for.

As these corporations grow, the people that they have working for them, the very ones earning their over inflated corporate salaries, just become numbers on a sheet to the corporate bean counters.

They give themselves multi-million dollar bonuses, all the while telling their employees that the just don't have the payroll, to hire the help they need to run the very stores that earn them said record making profits to begin with.

They run their stores with skelleton crews, while giving themselves bonuses for keeping payroll down. One of the most very stupid things I've ever heard from. The employees lose because they don't have enough help, and the customers lose because there just isn't anyone there to help them.

And the Aristocratic managers pat themselves on the back for "doing a good job". And enjoy a good whopping bonus at the the end of the year for screwing their employees, and customers, by making sure they don't have enough well paid, qualified help.

Well, I finally had enough. So I left. As so many good retail workers do.

So the next time you are in a really long check out lane, please don't complain to the poor cashier about where the help is, because you've had to wait far to long too get taken care of.

Better yet, ask a "Manager", and see the uncomfortable look on their face.

Because they don't want to tell you the true answer.

Thank God above, I'm finally free!!!! :D
