To stay or not to stay.......................

recently many comments acured after I recently gave my opinion about my passion for the SWBF2 gaming. How that, "It was time to move on". Many DSA members, more council or higher ranks have moved on to bigger and better play.

However many are dissappointed from my revelation, those that did have unhappy comments about me moving on did have responses later about them wanting to move on but not having the funding to carry onto the next generation of consoles.

After revealing many true feelings about people's appetite, I have concurred that the time is soon. How many people feel the same.

I selected the last choice because I feel like there isn't a good enough choice for me. There's no in-between choice.

What I mean is that I'm going to eventually get a next-gen console
and play other games, but I will still be playing SWBF2.

If SWBF3 or something similar to Battlefront ever comes out, I'll be playing that too. I love Star Wars too much to give it up.

with my current situation on swbf (cant connect to any rooms) i find myself ready to make the move to next-gen.. thursday i get my xbox and a few games....
can wait to show the world my skills.
      MUHAHAHHA

once again it is time for that world to cower in fear when they see "~DSA~LVDevilsFan has entered the game."

Once again it is time i hunt the dogs that proclaim "Devils Suck"

Once again, it is time to turn those with skills, to the Darkside.

Once again, the power of the DSA shall be felt across the land.

Fear me, for once again... I RETURN

Well rest assured, If you do decide to get a PS3 and say to yourself, "you know hwta, that new SOCOM looks pretty good, I'll pick it up" You can sleep soundly knowing that you will find me there. So longa s SOCOM games are still being made, I will continue to play them. If that means I must get a Wii, 360, and PS3 so be it.

I would've actually been done with SWBF2 if I had a 360 by now ;).Hence the number of times I broke away from the game for abit and came back to play.I only ever play Jedi,Sometimes Conquest and practice, but to be honest i'm pushing for a job to get a 360 right now I have my little fund going on,but thats for my own personal goal besides the 360.
To be honest i'm not disappointed in you at all G.After all this game is Lackluster and it is amazing how we all brought out the full potential on this game even if it wasn't patched or if it didn't gain maps and new character.So....it was only a matter of time until people got tired of SWBF2.

          Heres to SWBF3 ;)
Edit:When the funds really come in i'll move onto the next Gen until then i'm stuck on Socom and SWBF2.

I'm on the 360 but don't any one ever question my Star Wars loyalty. I'm waiting for the next big SW game/multiplayer. We have a lot of games going right now but with the next battlefront (hopefully is comes out) we shall unite and overpower once again.

Honestly the next gen system I will probably be getting first will be a WII for rpup. :p Of course dad will have to sneak in his games :D

I'm with you Ian on the SW loyalty. LOL Actually SWBF 2 is the first game I ever played online, and I was lucky to come across some good servers ;) I played only a few rounds of SOCOM online, and really didn't like it, hell I don't like the game offline really. Since I'm on such limited funds, I just try and play what I got, and make it as enjoyable as possible. Maybe about the time I get my truck paid off, damn that will be an extra 100 a week in my pocket so I'm going somewhere sometime, just gonna be another year or so lol.

rdaug you have no idea how fun playing super smash brothers ONLINE will be!!!

anyways i'll play bf2 if people get on, but it's not like the old days where i put fear into others eyes when they saw an engineer racing around the corner.

i have a Wii right now and plan on staying on that console until college. Xbox never appealed to me and never will with the games it has. the PS3 has many titles that i could die for but of course the price is still outrageous and i'm sure they're still working out kinks in the system.

but yes i feel that a big chapter should come to a close, and that is bf2. i mean it's a great game to just get on with a bunch of friends and basically screw around and have fun, but having serious practices, clan battles, tournaments are just too boring and old and basically dieing out. I'm sure things will migrate once The Force comes out and if/when BF3 comes out. For now maybe we should give other games and series a try like we're doing now and wait until the newest game in the series comes out that the DSA was created for.

Gino, allow me to ask a question.

Are you talking about moving on to a new game, or a new Clan?.

Because if it is the later, I'm going to get a section of rubba hose and beat you down with it!.

SWBF2 is tired game. It sucked from the get go. No new maps, zero support from the Devs and LA. This game was rushed, and it truly shows on so many levels. It is fun, but it could've been oh so much more.

Only one Jedi online map?. Well that was smart. Not.

LA truly dropped the ball on this issue with me. No SWBF3 was a major, and I mean MAJOR mistake.

We, as SW fans didn't want a crappy SW PSP game. Nor "Force unleashed", no matter how "kewl" it's going to be. What we all wanted was Battlefront 3. Hell, even Microsucks knows better than to bite the hand that feeds them.

And even to this very day, as battlefront fans, we are ignored, and discarded.

God, don't even get me started.

Its a vague rumor, but I hear That SWBF:RS is a test to see if the developers are capable of making the new battlefront. This is a speculation at least,People post about their desire to see the game(SWBF3) made eventually. It has been a speculated thought since SWBF2.
Shame SWBF2 wasn't properly made otherwise we would've had a classic here and many would've still been on it now.

whenever I was on swbf2 nobody else was so I traded in my stormtrooper helmet for Eucadian and Chernovan uniforms, it has been so long since I have played socom, and socom is the first online game I played on my ps2 back in 2001. it is what got me into online gaming, amd buying a network adaptor for ps2, I would like to be in dsa on socom, who is the leader?

Zab your talkin to a guy who still has all his action figures and ships. Not to mention a few Master replicas lightsabers, my favorite shirt is my boba fett shirt and that the belt buckle I wear every day is a big silver Imperial Seal.

It was actually my first online game I'd ever played as well so I have to give it credit for that and for meeting up with the DSA on top of everything.

The X Box version of Bf2 has an expansion pack. Only Sony was completely neglected. Still I pray for a bf3 that can be done right.
