Favorite music

I have no idea if there was ever a thread like this, not trying to copy! I personally enjoy metal, rock, screamo, and christian metal. I like bands such as Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, August Burns Red, Korn ,and The Apologetics.(might be spelled wrong!) Anybody else got some?

Good golly there were a lot of pages to read! That's what I get for not being around, I guess.

When I left off at page five, or so, no one had mentioned punk (or punk pop) which would be my favorite. Yellowcard, DKM, Greenwheel, Green Day, FM Static, MCR and so on.

Oh, and my brother's band... Safe and Easy Action. They're just staring. I haven't even heard them, but I'm sure they're great! :D

Speaking of 3 piece's. I love power Trio's and I've been DL'ing and listening to a ton of Primus lately. I always loved them but I'm just on a phat kick right now. They're another band that can't really be contained by one genre.

Oh hell yeah Primus. "So I kissed him upside the cranium with an aluminum baseball bat, My name is mud." Vocals are funky, but the bass, oh man that guy can slap those strings.

Damn right Les Claypool is the man. I've heard stories that he tried out for Metallica (both from the Bay Area) after Cliff Burton died. But they said he was all wrong for them, since his skills were too good to not be showcased. That dude is definately a different cat.

Hands down one of the most amazing basists I've heard. I've also heard that they put on a great live show with even crazier bass licks goin on.
