Here are some pics of my "updated" vader. After talking to my friend about it I decided to get my Vader in shape and apply for 501st membership. Here is the finnished product, well almost finnished there's still a few more small mods I want to do but they will have to wait.

The outfit looks great. But that jump suit looks like the hottest thing in the world. You got to figure out how to run icewater through that suit.

Des, the helmet is a modified Rubies which is injection molded ABS. It's had about 20 hours of labor poured into it to get it to look that way. Sad thing is, it's still not 100% accurate as I'm going for ROTS vader and the helmet is cast from an ESB model.

Norm, I already went as Ghetto Vader once before I'll post the pictures some other time.

Zabka, yes the suit is hot as hell and is actually reffered to by most as the Suana suit. Just in the time that it took to take those pictures I was sweating like I ran a marathon.

Well, I never would've figured that to be a Rubies, as they're total shiite. Now I KNOW you put alot of work into it. The Rubies I've seen, don't look near as good as yours does.

And yes Shocker, chicks dig the armor. Maybe because we're all dressed as "the bad guys", and girls do love the bad boys.

I was once trooping a Con at a local resort and vacation community, and an entire squad of cheerleaders all ran up and wanted to hug and love on me.
The sardonic look on my wife's face said it all. A look that just said "Uh Huh, enjoy it while you can". lol. At a Toy Store where we were doing a fundraiser for "Toys for Tots", My buddy was wearing his Royal Guard. So this really hot chick exclaimed to him that she just thought the Royal Guards were the coolest thing ever, and asked if she could get her picture with him.

So of course he said yes, as he isn't a fool. Heh. So right as she's getting her piccy with him, as the shooting away, she reaches over and starts squeezing his ass.

Well, Hot Chicka's boyfriend sees this, and starts to get really pissed off at her for doing that. So they get into a minor tiff, and when she goes to leave, she turns around, winks at him, and blows him a kiss. And don't even ask what it's like when we all pile into a Hooters!

What's odd is that you'd think chicks would think it was geeky, but in all truth it's quite the opposite. :D

Zabka, one of my future upgrades is going to be a Leather suit as they breath better than the pleather. Until then there's not much I can do except sweat my ass off, I have actually thougth about replacing the back of the suit with mesh but I'm unsure if the Pleather would hold up to the modification.
