The background music was actually from the70s, shortly after the original star wars became a phenomenon. this was an era where disco ruled, so many songs were made into disco form...and this song was pretty ubiquitous. It was around this time that Beethoven's 5th was also made into synth-disco and called a Fifth of Beethoven.You're the best! Around! Nothings gonna ever keep you down!

if you ever watch old SNL's or compilations...there is a Bill Murray sketch where he plays a lounge singer that just adlibs songs. One of them is basically a lounge version of this disco Star Wars song.

It's as if she didn't even realize she was out of tune... As both a trumpet player and a teacher of trumpet playing, I must say this is a disgrace not only to trumpeters, but to musicians of all variety...Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
As a man, I don't have high standards for women. I just three criteria you must meet. One, are you a woman? Two, have you always been a woman? Three, if you answered "No." to either of the previous questions, can you keep a secret?

I love this stuff. It reminds me of American Idol with all the losers think they can sing. No one has ever told them they SUCK. I mean did she ever play this in front of anyone that wasn't completely tone deaf before performing it on stage? OMG I would love to see her face watching a playback of this thing. ROFL. She would be pissed and beat the hell out of her pageant "coaches".
