Well the Patriots whoas are only going to get worse when they lose their first round pick this year, and their defense is only aging more. Actually their whole team is getting kind of old. I guarantee Patriots next year at best 9-7 next year. AT BEST. I expect more like 7-9.
I told you that it was a bad idea to bet against the Giants before the game even started.
Then at halftime I said we were going to tear Brady into 100 peices.
You should just listen to me next time.
Thanks for the great advice, I'm more bitter of how I had to listen to Mercury Morris talk about how they are still the only undefeated team in to win super Bowl. I just wanted that record broken for once.
This will offend some of you (Blunt), but you can mark this down now. The Patriots will be the Super Bowl champs next year. They have the seventh pick overall, still one of the best coaches and quarterbacks in the game. They just need to sure up an old defense. A better offensive co-ordinater wouldn't hurt either, I mean after that first half they didn't max protect at all, no wonder Brady was always on his ass.
Last year Belichick found out that you need great recievers to beat the Colts and got big recievers. This year, he found out that a great defense can shut down those great recievers. I think we're going to start seeing that physical Patriots Defense from 2001 and 2003 come back. Harrison and Seau are getting older, so it's about time they draft younger guys.
BTW, the taped Rams practice in 2002 Super Bowl was a Red Zone walkthrough. You know how many times the Rams got into the Red Zone that game? Once. They scored on that only Red Zone perfection (Warner QB sneak). This tape had no effect on the game. I highly doubt Martz ran their red zone offense the entire game, although you never know with Mike Martz.
"You gotta have fun. Regardless of how you look at it, we're playing a game. It's a business, it's our job, but I don't think you can do well unless you're having fun." - Derek Jeter

As I said earlier the nu,ber one pick in the draft won't revitalized the deflation they faced in the super bowl. It was like the saints a year back when they were riding an emotional train that whole season and became one game from super bowl. And the following year noone remembers that great season. Its just how the ravens too were riding high. Some teams get deflated from the playoff loses. Here's my prediction of teams that will be lucky to finish .500.
