My friends and I each have to survey 12 people for a board game project in school that would make the buyers go for our board game (like a business competition) and I thought I could get some input from my fellow clan members.

Just answer the following questions:

1. What type of board game do you like?
Something with a lot of variety. Doing the same thing over and over just to make it around a board sucks. Word type games that rely on creativity, like Taboo, are a lot of fun because they make you think. (Ok, maybe Taboo doesn't have a "board" per se, but one could be incorporated to make it a board game).

2. How often would you play it?
Depends on company that comes over. That to me is the only time it is fun. Say, no more than once a month.

3. Do you like it to be time consuming?
No. Shorter games that can be stopped quickly are better, imo.

4. What keeps you interested?
Variety.

5. What colors attract you?
Primary.

6. What would make you get the board game?
Party appeal. How much fun it is in a group.

7. Do you like to play with more than 2 people?
Yes.

8. Do you prefer real life or fantasy?
Both can be a lot of fun.

9. How challenging do you want the game?
Medium challenge level.

10. Do you prefer dice or spinner?
Why not both with some variety? If I had to chose one, I'd go with dice.

Once or twice a month

Moderately so. I don't want to be playing for 8 hours, but I like enough depth to where you can't finish quicker than 2 hours.

A particular liscence I like (Star Wars Risk or monopoly)

yes, I prefer 4-6

I could go either way. I like historical reference and fiction.

9. How challenging do you want the game?
Again moderately difficult. No one likes an easy game. Conversly, no one wants to pull their hair out playing with your friends and family.

10. Do you prefer dice or spinner?
Dice all the way. Maybe it's the degenerate gambler in me, but I have got to hear that click clack in my hands.

2. How often would you play it? I Play Backgammon and Scrabble a lot when visiting relatives. About, 2 or 3 times a month.

3. Do you like it to be time consuming? Not really. I like board games to go no more than 1 to 2 hours

4. What keeps you interested? The compitition keeps me interested.

5. What colors attract you? Blue and purple.

6. What would make you get the board game? Each of my statements above.
