The new cartoon is going to be a movie first, then a TV series. I didn't know about the movie part.

I look forward to the live action TV series, but I wish the Clone Wars series would just focus on the existing story arc. There are so many novels and comics that could be brought to life. Oh well, looks like I'll be buying The NEW new essential chronology in a couple years.

I would like to see a star wars book, movie, or show that is focused on a clone trooper's viewpoint. They are, in my opinion, the most underrated people in the Star Wars universe. I mean, who is putting their life on the line mainly, who dies in the thousands every battle, who ultimately fights for the republic? The troopers. The jedis come in whenever and do very little to sway the tide of the battle as they are off just chasing sith lords and what not. It would be cool to see it from a soldier's point of view.

I remember reading about this a while ago.
When I first heard Lucas was planning on making a 3D version of Star Wars,
I thought it meant that we would get to watch the original movies with 3D glasses.
How disappointed I was...
