yes, my family hates me now. I disappear for days while I game. If only had a bathroom and a fridge downstairs in my gaming station. I'd never have to leave. Hmmm although I could use the tactic that Cartman used in the WoW south park episode...

"4. Put some game into your nighttime activities
If your spouse's gaming addiction is cutting into your bedroom time, think about how you might switch up your usual routine. If they're into military games like Call of Duty or Splinter Cell, uniforms aren't hard to find (nor are night-vision cameras, if you're game). But if they call you a "n00b," it might be time to think about kicking them to the curb. "

      this really made me laugh.

But if you want to get the lady friend invovled with the game a little i would suggest rock band. They just seem to love it around here and keep comin back to play it.
My mom even bought a ps3 to play rockband so for you older gentlemen there is a chance the ole wife will rock out with ya.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. ― Alexis de Tocqueville

Well, I guess I'm one of the lucky few.

My lady doesn't mind me gaming a bit. She loves sitting on the couch and watching me play Oblivion, and loves to watch me play COD4, and enjoys getting on the mic and talking/teasing the other players while I'm playing.

She doesn't really game that much. She adores Hotshots golf 3(ps2), Ribbitking (PS2), and recently on her birthday bought Tiger Woods '08(PS3).

She claims that she's not any good at games, but when she finally masters the controls, she's downright evil. I bought her Ribbitking so we could have a nice, fun game that we could play together. And now, like Hotshots Golf 3, I downright refuse to play against her. She just pwns me outright.

God help the world if she nails down COD4!!!

She actually encouraged me to get my PS3. Hell, once my old big box PS2 took a dump, she went out that night and bought me a new one.

So most of the nights when I'm online killing everything in sight, or being pwned by every n00b on the 'net, you can guess who's sitting by my side.

She even bought me one of those fancy gaming chairs.

Now you can see why I married her. You just don't let a woman like that get away.

                P.S..

She even brings me beer and smokage while I'm playing, without me having to even ask!!!! :D

my wife is the one who got me into it, she bought me my ps2 and the first socom, she buys me socom every november for my birthday, a game every christmas and easter. lol she just bought me r6v2 for easter the limited edition, she brought it home and said happy easter, I went to the game store to put $ down on resistance 2 and they said she came in and reserved haze for me. I dont play till the kid is in bed, and I spend time with her. then she reads her books and watches me play.
we have 2 ps2's from 2002 (they both still work) we used to play socom 2 together. she got me my ps3 for christmas right after it came out. sounds like deslock and I have similar wife's

lol, nice manhood fiber, mine doesnt support the car fund at all really, I think she's jealous, but as far as paintball and ps3, she is the 1 who got me into them.but it would be nice to soup up my 300zx turbo, if only I had $6,000 I had a bid done once and with that amount I could make it sooo badass.
